McDonagh says his left knee is fine. Just a "tweak." Wasn't worried. Says it happens about once a season.
Thanks for the update. I dislike McDonagh from my perspective as a Flyers fan (very jealous that you guys have him), but I love him for my fantasy team (tons of blocks and hits and respectable scoring). Good to hear he should be fine.

On the McD goal I was screaming at my TV for Girardi to make the seam pass to McD. God, I just see the game so well.

Good: Staal looked even closer to himself today, yet again. The offense was strong. PK was strong.

Bad: PP sucks again

Redden:
Instead of writing my own, replica of this post, I'll just quote it and add Cally as an HM.

Solid performance. Dubi, Prust and Boyle were particularly strong. The powerplay did struggle a bit after a strong start with first or second opportunity. Glad McD is okay, beautiful move after toe dragging and nearly scoring a few minutes before the goal. Just flat out better than Caps who did not deserve a point.

For those of you still worrying about the Rangers' unsustainable shooting percentage, fear not! Mike Rupp's SPCT has dropped almost ten points the last few weeks, yet we still find ways to win games.

Today was Kids Day. Lots of children there ******** their pants and such, so it really sounded like they turned the volume and bass on the speakers way down today.

This team reminds me a lot of the 1991-92 team. 50-25-5. If it wasn't for that stupid strike, they would've won the Cup that year. That was a tough team. They took off in January and February. Dog days of the NHL season.

This team is better in goal. Better on D. They don't have Brian Leetch. Better depth overall. Jay Wells(Randy Moller trade),Joe Cirella,Mark Hardy and Par Djoos behind Leetch,James Patrick and Jeff Beukeboom. Mark Messier won the Hart that year. Adam Graves,Tony Amonte,Mike Gartner,Sergei Nemchinov,Darren Turcotte,Kris King,Paul Broten,Tie Domi,Randy Gilhen,John Ogrodnick,Tim Kerr and Doug Weight. That team had more offensive firepower. This team is bigger up front. It was a different game.

That team didn't make many trades

Corey Millen for Gilhen

Moller for Wells

Mark Janssens to Minnesota for a draft pick

Beukeboom was acquired in early November to complete the Messier trade.

Vokoun was ill at the last minute so he couldn't play. Neuvirth said he didn't get to warm up much because he thought Vokoun was starting.

That's what I was thinking, but yes, the pre-game led me to ask the question here

They said it was interesting that Hank played both games of the back-to-back (only 3rd time he's done so this year). So they were wondering if we play him in Boston or if we throw an oddball at the Bruins and make them scratch their heads, by playing Biron. I'd rather put Hank in net
