They should call up Alex Henry for the Bruins game.

Alex Henry can take care of Thornton. That would be a helluva game if he came up.

Henry vs Thornton
Schultz vs Lucic
Bourque vs Campbell
White vs McQuaid
Subban vs Marchand
Price vs Timmay
Gomez vs Bergeron

This is why RC >> JM

If Martin was still coaching we would have called up Engqvist.

Unless Thornton is molesting PK, leave him be. He brings nothing else to the table. Just like Lucic wouldn't fight BGL, no one should honour Thornton unless he earns it. Best hope for Schultz is a wrestling match, but it will send a statement that our skill guys are off limits.

He was injured yesterday and the habs still iced a full a lineup. Unless Palushaj is getting sent down it doesn't make much sense to call up both guys to replace 1 injured player.

You mean how Engqvist was called up last week under RC?

White's call up was expected, he was on the team last season and was sent down for conditioning.

he would be destroyed, not good for his confidence since he just turned up 22

After watching Schultz fights on youtube...we should hope he doesn't fight a legit NHL fighter.

i don't care about the fights, just want to see the B's not push us around, not crash price, not chase PK etc...as hopefully there will be a response.
would love to keep moen too.

moen gets even tougher with Schultz and white in lineup. all we need is a tinordi type on back end and we're set

Amazing. Here we are in a pretty ho-hum season and look at the excitement of just having White and Schultz called up.

Now imagine having Carkner and Prust on this team as well. THAT would be excitement and a better chance at winning.

Solid call ups after the Mike Brown fiasco from last night. This is why Cunneyworth "Gets it," and should stay on as a coach. White and Schultz may not be Probert and Kocur, but they bring an important physical element to the game that is needed - especially since the Bruins have manhandled the Habs for awhile physically. Great move! Hopefully Moen is in the lineup against the Bruins as well...

I have seen several fights where Lucic gets his ass handed to himself.

Even Buffalo gained confidence when Kaleta stood up to Lucic....even though he lost.

Confidence doesnt come from winning or losing a hockey fight as every player who has had a fight in the NHL has won and lost fights. Confidence comes from taking on a thug like Lucic.....win or lose.

We should ask Mike Komisarek.

Change the channel if something breaks out, we wouldn't want you to see something as violent as a hockey fight.

Why are people talking like Cunnyworth has any say in these callups? I thought it was the GMs decision alone and the coach has to deal with whatever players he gets?

Maybe it means we're trading a defencemen and Cunneyworth will finally go with 12 forwards and 6 defence.

Not very complicated if you ask me... Both White and Schultz played 3 games in 3 days so they are out of the question for tommorrow (who cares it's Carolina). The next day Palushaj gets sebt down and the fire starts baby!!

Habs have 13 healthy forwards (without being Moen DTD) ... Knowing that Cunneyworth likes to play with 7 D ... Could Plekanec be injured?
