Team is 6-0 when I go this year, and I'm going Monday. So I'm saying 4-1 Caps.

5-1 SJ. No confidence in this team and coming off a back to back which seems to make everyone else play harder but the Caps.

Sharks currently playing and losing to the Blues in the 3rd. Figure they won't get into their hotel rooms till about 2:00 AM here.

I'll be there to witness a Cap win 3-1.

Serious question. What happens if this team misses the playoffs? Or gets bounced in the first or second round again? What will it be then. Id like a serious answer.

Whats the excuse then from these so called "die hards" that think this "rough patch" is making this team gel and will help them to the promise land this playoffs.

Honestly I'm still pretty young I've only been following the team since the 98 cup run but this is definitely the most frustrating season for me to watch. Everything that could go wrong pretty much has.

It always feels as if things will get better soon and for the most part they somehow continue to get worse

I just want Green back

Edit I know everyone would want big changes if the team misses the playoffs, but I still doubt it happening

Hey, just wanted to pop in and wish you guys luck. Caps are my second team, so a Sharks OT win would be lovely for me.

Don't dispair. The Sharks were around 10th or 9th this time last season, and then they came roaring back to get the 2nd seed. You never know what will happen.

as always it depends on the specifics. if this team gets green back in mid march and backstrom in early april and then make the playoffs as a 7 or 8 seed. then win in the first round over boston or nyr and then lose a competitive 2nd round series, i'd say nothing major changes.

conversely if they miss the playoffs, hunter says he's not coming back and leonsis and patrick change gm's.

if backs and green dont return and they scratch into the playoffs, i doubt there are changes either. it needs to play out.
