He's a liability. I dont get the fascination with this guy.

No doubt he's a good fighter, but if he was actually capable of taking a regular shift he wouldn't have lasted on the free agent market as long as he did this summer, only getting a deal in mid July for one year at limited dollars.

Konopka has been made out to be something that he is not by Habs fans.

What's funny is that this fascination started the day Benoit Brunet said we needed a guy like him on our roster.

A guy like White is 10 times what Konopka is at 1/10th of the price

What I mostly wanted to say is that we need a good forth line that could earn the respect on the ice.. I said Konopka cuz I know that he's not afraid to drop the gloves.

If there's anyone better out there, please offer him something lol..

Not that I disagree but you really had to say that? What's so funny about hitting a guy who's already down?

I would keep him.

But he has to sign a new contract before the trade deadline, or else... Like Sutton has done in Edmonton.

If not, let's trade him for the best offer....even if it's from Boston..

Would cost more money, but Paul Gaustad is a much better option than Konopka. Not as good a fighter, but still fights, and is a much, much, much better hockey player.

That is the rub, no doubt. But management should have a little foresight here. What are our chances, really, of winning a cup this year, even if we squeak into the playoffs? We're currently on a four game win streak, played largely without Moen. Guys like Darche are doing the job, and maybe, just maybe, they're bringing up White and Schultz to see if they can also do a little bit of what Moen can do.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, maybe Gauthier isn't as stupid as he looks?
