I think the Islanders are supporting our opponent.

Sore losers. First, they lose the GDT semi-final, then yesterday's game, and they have to endure the fact that the Gomez Curse ended on their ice

I think MiG got more votes than Slocal in the semis. If Habs fans make it their duty to support one of the nicest posters around, there's no way the Waffle Cup doesn't land here. GO MiG GO!

Too bad those tasty waffles are now going the Sharks' way... we lost the GDT tournament final and thus the Waffle Cup was won by the Sharks!

Thanks a lot MathRadio. This competition was very well organized and you managed to get all the fans involved, making it really fun and interesting

Next year I'll make sure we have a real contender against other teams GDTs. My chilloutine suffered in the finals from a lack of content/stats. And I count on my fellow GDT makers here to join me in the next edition of the Waffle Cup!

That was a good contest and congrats to MiG the eastern champ. I wonder how the 28 Facepalms later GDT would have fared against South Park? Oh well. Slocal is renown for his GDT's so it's well deserved.

For next year, though, I'd want an internal GDT tournament, starting near the trade deadline, or just after, so we can determine who will get to represent the Habs in time for the next edition of the Waffle Cup (and its associated playoffs), which begins around the day the actual Stanley Cup playoffs begin.

I guess, we had too much Chilloutine going into the Waffle Cup final.
