The ultimate issue I have is I see a topic I am genuinely interested in with 34 replies on it and I feel I might get some useful information and all I see is crappy reply after crappy reply that has nothing to do with the topic at all.
I think Gagne can contribute to this team...considering that the last game produced one real goal (if you subtract out two guys who recorded their first NHL goal and a meaningless empty-netter), then we can use all the help we can get.

All the useful info was in the first post. He's back on skates but not close to returning.
All people are doing here is having a little fun with the Kings injury woes of the past. Having a little fun. Relax.
Dude, I can understand having a little fun...but it's not only this thread.
It's just my comment I guess on the ultimate uselessness of most of posting boards...it is indeed hard to get useful information. We need scoring badly and it just isn't looking like its going to happen by the trading deadline.
It would be great to get him back for the playoffs; however, considering the hit that knocked him out of action, I'm not sure how many playoff games he has in him.

I agree, though I think it's 50/50 something will happen. If DL's good at one thing it's pulling trades out of left field. The Penner deal was well known ahead of time but the Richards deal, the WIlliams deal and the Jack Johnson deal weren't even on anyone's radar, not even Bob MacKenzie before they happened.
I don't think he spent much time on IR, he was just fat and out of shape when the Kings acquired him, much like Kevin Stevens. The Kings of the 90s had a knack for picking up washed up players.

Truer words were never spoken (or, in this case, written).
