In other 2004 draft news:

J.T. Wyman has 5 points in 12 games with the Lightning and might have a NHL career himself.

Mark Streit's last two goals are beauties.
I would had re-sign him instead of having Blunden. he was one of Cunneyworth's favourite players last season in Hamilton.

Chipchura has hit career high in assists and points, 12 more games and he'll hit a new high there as well.

Would you welcome Komisarek back to Montréal ?

The Habs defense is still too soft. We could use a big physical defenseman. When Markov returns, Kaberle is not needed anymore. We should trade Kaberle for Komisarek. Maybe going back to where he had success could revive his career. He learned his lesson, going to Toronto. I'm sure he would do better in our system, as we lack of players with his physical and block shoting skillset and have too many soft puckmovers. And Imagine Emelin + Komisarek + Subban who can deliver big hits. Moreover, we just have to go with 7 defensemen and use Gill only for the PK when everybody's healthy. Gill sucks at ES anyways.

Subban-Gorges
Markov-Komisarek
Emelin-Diaz
Gill

Kaberle still brings more to the table than Komi. If that's the deal, Burke has to add. We also need offense from the D too, which is the only thing Kaberle provides. I'd also wager that its more likely Kaberle can find his game than Komi.

Hell no.

And for Kaberle, man the guy only makes 4.25M that is 6.65% if you spend to the cap. Guy is being paid like any good 4-5 D-men., so much hate for a guy that aint even that bad.

Well, if they offer Komisarek, their first round pick and Colborne for Kaberle... yes... but they won't, so my answer is definitely no.

Thanks for your answers about the Komi merged thread. I still want Komi back because he would make our team tougher, and because Kaberle couldn't play D to save his life, while we have other puck movers. But I get the pulse.

PS
If Calgary welcomed Cammy back, Komi to Montréal is possible.

I do this trade it for Gomez, and then send him to the AHL, let him rot there. I like Gomez as a person, so when the Leafs bury him in the AHL, at least he'll be living in Toronto, which isn't so bad.

I would send Gomez to a Swiss or German Team, like Chicago has done with Huet.

Yup. Send Gomez to Huet's team ! They'd be a powerhouse and it would make it easier to get streams of their games. But Komi isn't as useless as Gomez.

Except Cammalleri was a regular here, averaging over 18 min per game (not bad for a fwd). Komisarek, only 16:30 (when he's not scratched).

Komisarek is dead weight. Expensive dead weight too.

Cammy has been deadweight too all season long.
