Poti has been one of our steadiest defensemen and has been very good. Think about it. If he hadn't turned the corner wouldn't he have been dealt instead of Drats?
Let Poti play good...it's one of those guys that nothing will change my opinion about him. He uses his stick as a shield and shys away from contact. Sure, he's getting better...thank the lord, but I cannot stand the guy

Almost scored, although it was closer to a missed net than goal (just grazed the outside of the post).

I thought Poti had another good game as well. Malik and Strudwick looked terrible though.

Malik has nobody or nothing to blame but himself on that goal. It wasn't fatigue, if he was absolutely spent after that hit against Chelios it wouldn't have been so bad but he got back into play fine but then just stood there and let Shanny have a ball in front of Lundie.

Malik spent too much time...

admiring his hit. Strudwick was more of the culprit as he should've gravitated towards the front of the net a bit earlier and covered for his partner.

It was the first time he ever hit a guy like that...he didn't know what to do, he probably thought there would be Wings coming at him in every direction...he forgot it's the new NHL
