We're there for three days and staying with a mutual chef, so hitting up tons of great restaurants. I'm hoping to get my skate on too. But Basically going with the flow and stopping into Grumpy's and Dieu du Ciel along the way.

It will be fine. I went there many times wearing my jersey. (Chara... lol)
It's a great place to watch a game, you should have fun... more if the Bruins win.

I have been going to most home games at the Garden for 10 years.

The worst fans I have noticed were a few Flyer fans and a few Bruin's fans.

A few years ago there would be many Hab fans at the games in Boston. They would be in your face loud with the "GO HABS GO and ole ole". They would come in busloads and drink all the way to Boston . The Garden would bring extra security for those games. The last few years there have been far fewer Montreal fans. BTW...I have sat with some great fans from Montreal too.

The problem fans (both visiting teams and B's fans) drink too much and look for trouble...which they will always find.

I sit in the Loge and hear it can be worse up top.

I believe most people/ fans are ok . If you act like an ass you will be treated like an ass.

I would recommend Cafe Presto. It's fairly close to the arena as well.

I'm saying, because of the nature of the rivalry and because the Canadiens are basically all they have, a Boston fan in Montreal needs to be a lot more careful than your typical visiting fan.
The Canadiens aren't all we have.

hmmm ....White and Schultz have being called up. Nothing to scare the big bad Bruins, but hey something is something

To the OP: Leave ur shirt at home....

I was just thinking how cocky Rangers fans are last while,Wonder if they are aware they could be facing habs in 1st rd who are bulit for 1 or 2 rd upsets and play Rangers tough as nails.

I go to games in Montreal all the time. Never had a problem in my Bruins jersey. I've worn Chara and McLaren jerseys and nothing happened. I dont sit anywhere other than the nosebleeds. Wear it. I'll be there too, by the way.

Very excited for this trip, will be wearing colors even if I run into some actual Habs at Liverpool House or McKiernan's after the game. Unfortunately my sister broke her leg so we'll be hobbling around the Ranger and Habs games.

Montreal men don't hit women Bruins fans; they hit on them. Subtle difference!

Incredible city, so many wonderful things about it. The best, of course, is being at the Bell Center when a Chara blast wins it with 30 seconds left.
