That's the problem with the "go for it" mentality in that if we only have 50% win from here to the end, we won't make it. And we don't have team to win them all. So it's better to lose them all and get a greater reward.
i was pretty happy at the Kaberle trade at first but hes just awful . im crossing my fingers we can trade him at the deadline so we are not stuck with him .
He showed some nice things, but he just doesn't score. I don't know what it is, but he can't bury a goal. I rather give the ice time to AK or someone else because Palushaj just isn't doing it.
All he does is take the puck and go around the opposing net. He doesn't bring anything else. He doesn't shoot, he's not that good of a passer and he's weak.
Good coaching to keep putting Palushaj out there instead of Kostitsyn. The kid isn't an NHL player.
If I was AK I'd see no reason to want to re-sign with the Habs.. Do yourself a favor Andrei and get as far away from the Habs as you can this summer.. If not before Feb 27..
absolutely, was a good game except for Kaberle and Campoli. Both should be traded away or sent to Hamilton. Aren't you guys happy getting rid of that horrible player in Kaberle
Ya. I'm also pro-tank, so I don't really care about losing. Its just that we always seem to get a lead and crap all over it. This time wasn't as bad because it was only a 1 goal lead, but 21 times...
I disliked (1) Gomez on the PP, (2) Palushaj playing more than Kostitsyn and (3) Darche playing 4/4 hockey with less than 2 minutes to go while trailing behind by one goal. Those were weird moves by Cunneyworth.
I liked the intensity displayed by both teams.
Well... you can't win them all but our Canadiens can't afford to lose two in a row: the game vs Boston will be huge.
Closer to 15th than 8th. 2 points away from 15th, 7 away from 8th.
Doesn't matter at this point. Whether we like it or not, there are more bad teams in that bunch than good ones. Even Ottawa at 7th is going down in flames. I don't see anybody in there that could be better than us as much as we think we suck.
Andrei Kostitsyn will be eating poff corn in the pressbox tommorrow, while his teammates fight togheter, that lazzy Bielorussian sits on his ass, what a gutless loser!! I dont care what we will get for, as long as his ass is traded away from this town I will be happy.
The question is not to wonder if Gomez will play with the Habs or not next year, the real question is; will he score more than 10 goals with the Bulldogs?

Yup, go somewhere where you're going to be treated like a real top 6 winger.

Do you get the feeling that AK won't be around next year... or even the end of this year? He couldn't have hurt the team much tonight. Zero on the +/- and 4 minutes of ice time. I know he has looked a lost the last couple of games but for the life of me I can't figure out why the coaches never kept him with Eller. They seemed to have great chemistry and then everything gets changed around... about the time Gomez came back
Brutal loss. Carolina's first win after being behind after 2nd period.
Gomez on the PP when a goal is vital.....is this a special ed class?...just flat out ridiculous. Darche on with 2 minutes left on a 4 on 4?? Really.
And DD......Shoot the flippin puck......He's always going to be that way-looking pass even when he should shoot. He almost never shoots unless it's the only option. He's got to improve on that.
So deflating. We need to focus for 60 minutes. Refs didn't help but we couldn't bounce back in time. I think losing this game will make them come out flying against the Bruins, especially with White and Schultz inserted in on 2 days rest. Hoepfully Campoli and Palushaj are out next game, depending if AK is healthy or not.

We're also 2 games ahead of 5 of 7 teams below us. 1 game ahead of 1 and tied with another. 3 of those 5 teams need 1 point to tie us in next 2 GP. 1 of the 5 need 2 pts in 2 GP to tie us. A few wins by them and a few losses by us and we're 2nd or 3rd last.
