He's been in the NHL 4 years and has yet to improve.

MacArthur being better than Raymond is extremely debatable both have had ONE good season and are extremely streaky players.

Kulemin is matching Raymond's production in twice as many games. Don't forget to check the gp column while stat sheet scouting.

And Mac's production this season shows that last season wasn't just a fluke while Raymond is still producing like a botton 6er and no Raymond wont be replacing Kule in the top 6, Leafs are already lacking size in the top 6 taking Kule and replacing him with Raymond (both are producing at a low rate but unlike Raymond Kuli is effective at battling for pucks and has a big body to screen goalies) will make our top 6 as small as the Hab's.
Anyway I would rather trade Schenn for a young forward like Strome or JVR.

Done from Toronto's perspective. I guess i'm not as high on Luke as other Leafs fans.

Fair trade (value wise) but I don't see the Canucks being interested. Don't believe Schenn suits Vancouvers style any more then he does ours.

From a leafs perspective, we have more then enough young talent in goal but we're in desperate need for a proven veteran netminder. It's a shame Giguere didn't work out for us.

Lets be fair, Schenn has definitely improved. Heck, even if you just look at his offensive stats he's on pace to beat his old career high in points and with less minutes TOI/G. Schenn is only 22 years old, he's going to get a lot better as time progresses. He could be a good fit next to Edler for many years to come. There aren't too many defensemen that break out at his age, give him some more time.

Let me ask you something, how is Schenn's first pass? This is pretty much the critical element that decides whether or not you will work in Vancouver's system.
