Dubi, Kreider and 1st? Nah... If I was CBJ GM I would scout Ds here and at HFD. That is what they did, probably. Kreider, 1st and Erixon and/or MDZ plus Dubi as a salary dump is more likely they'd ask...

Not gonna do it if Kreider is in the deal.

Erixon for sure, the 1st for sure, Dubi for sure. Any one of the rest of out prospect list aside from Kreider and JT Miller, for sure.

Not gonna include two of our top three prospects and a first for Nash.

Organizational suicide. Not gonna happen

Without Kreider there will be no talk, I am sure. Suicide is normal when SC is in sight. Kreider may never be as good as nash already is, just a thought.

Erixon will NOT be traded with what happened in the offseason. No chance.

Of course they're interested--whether or not they can match teams' offers is the real question, along with how do you fit him into the cap structure.

Don't want it. Not for his astronomical price tag. No. We're in 1st play, battling for 1st in the entire league. Why mess with chemistry?

Let's go after a nice UFA in the off-season.

Not now.

I say no to trading Kreider.

Dubi, Thomas, McIlrath, and a 1st is the farthest I go. Or replace Kreider with Erixon and I'd do that.

Don't trade Dubinsky!!! He is a player who perfectly plays the game that we play here! The reason we are so good is because of our TEAM mentality and how each player plays the way the TEAM should play. Offer them Anisimov, Erixon, 1st, and a mid-level prospect. Take it or leave it

i think it would be a much wiser move for us to explore a move for carter instead of nash. that 7.8 hit will do damage in 2 years. carter will post atleast the same goal production as nash would if not more. you know carter really wants to stick it to the flyers.

God, I can't believe you guys want his 7.8 million.

Let's just get rid of some our core for his overpaid hide.

Sounds like the Rangers of old. Glad none of you are GMs.

I'd agree on Erixon. They need to replace Tyutin, don't they? They must get a NHLer D no less that 2nd pair level. MDZ? Sauer?

I don't get how this would even work. Isn't Nash a RW?

If we are making trades with Columbus, I'd rather take Vinny back.

You cannot develop forever. Lundqvist will never have a better season. Nash is better than Carter in my book.

Nash is locked up for a long time. This isn't a rental. He's what we hope Kreider will turn out to be.

The timing is tough though. As it stands, we're in a position to compete for the Cup for the next 2-3 years. Adding Nash at the expense of two top-six guys and a first might prove costly. Also, will be difficult to resign all the RFAs with Nash's contract (even after the subtraction of Dubinsky's contract).

Would not move Kreider either.

Nash has 7 more years after this at a $7.8 mil cap hit. That is huge. There's going to be no free agent hunting in the off season if we trade for this guy.

Dubi is a more multi-dimensional player than Nash but what Rick does well--he does extremely well. The price tag of what it costs to get him and the price tag of his contract is a whole lot. The question is would he put us over the top?

What I'd be prepared to offer--Anisimov (rather than Dubinsky), Erixon, 2012 1st--pick any two of Thomas, Fasth, Fogarty, St. Croix. Not sure if that would be enough.

Look, if it was a rental at 7.8M that is one thing. This guy is signed to a "rest of career" contract. Do you really want another guy on the team that is going to make 7.8 per, and make it hard to sign your kids. I really don't think he fits, for a run at the cup, fine, but not for 7 more years after this one.

How do you know Lundqvist will not have a better season? Maybe he does slip a bit next year, and maybe Dubi goes back to normal next year.

Right now we're battling for the President's Trophy. I still say - regardless of who we pick - we're 1-2 pieces away from a Stanley Cup.

I'd rather go for a guy in the off-season - keep our core - and see what happens next year.

Regardless if Kreider is a stud or not, I don't want to personally mess with our chemistry right now and our unison.

Besides 7.8 million? No way we'll be resigning our RFA in 3 years from now with that to hinder us.

Not for Kreider. No way.

If Dubinsky and a 1st go, I'm okay with that.

If the Rangers sub Anisimov for Dubinsky and Thomas for Kreider, I'm all for this deal. Otherwise, NO!!!!!

Dubi has much larger contract than Ani. Without Dubi in the mix thare is no cap sense for the Rangers.
