Yeah, but he tied Gretzky's record!

Good to see you exhalt him up in player echelon because a couple months ago you were calling him a useless bust who could not progress;

Darren Dreger (darrendreger)

Because of interest in resigning him and now injury, Tuomo Ruutu is no longer a trade option.
Interesting effect on Hemsky's trade value.

Too bad that isn't how I compared them. Nice job.

All players look better with superior line mates. Hopkins is a superior player and doesnt need players like Eberle and Hall to make him look great.

As much as I like Nash the Oilers cant trade for him unless Horcoff is going the other way. I am sure that would be a non starter for CBJ.

2013 1st
Horcoff

How can you make such an assumption when we've seen him in only 1 game without either of them? That was my point. I'm not going to exalt him to that status without further proof because I am a scientist by trade, and I rely mostly on empirical evidence. How you cannot, I will never understand. There's no statistical indication nor trend imminently evident that he will or he wont be able to carry his own line.

Maybe, or giving up two first round picks, is a terrible idea, because it's a ****ing terrible idea.

never said he was a bust. He is what he is, a decent option for a #2C.

Gagner hadnt shown any improvement for 3 straight years. neither did the team. They were a team that should have been better than they were, much like Gagner was a player that should have been doing better than he was.

If Gagner was a player who could carry a 1st line like Hopkins will then he had 4 years to show it.

Guys, Dave Hodge has narrowed down the trade destinations for Rick Nash on his twitter account -

Quote:
Rick Nash says he will veto any trade to a team that is worse than Columbus.
That should help focus the rumors of where he might land.
