Calderon would be a great fit for the Lakers. There's no way Kobe would let him pound the rock for 20 seconds on the shot clock, Jose and Gasol have played together on national teams, Calderon can run the screen and roll with the bigs and also is a very good shooter.
They'd need to get a third team involved if they wanted to acquire him though.
Raptors have nothing of consequence anyone would want for Rondo, but I'd trade a whole ****in' lot to have him.
Same. He would be one hell of a fit. People can say all they want about Rondo benefiting off the big 3 but as far as I am concerned, he is their best player IMO (this season anyways).

Wow, really? Didn't expect to hear that from Kobe.
He really would be a good fit there. Good passer, doesn't turn over the ball much, can spread the floor a bit because of his ability to shoot 3's and can score if needed. He would be one massive improvement over Fisher or any of their other point guards. Great team guy that will never complain even if he doesn't get the ball much in the 4th.
Might be a tough deal to facilitate though since Lakers don't have much assets to play with.
Sportscentre showed the end of the game this morning with a clock superimposed for the inbounds. Both Casey and Butler were in fact over the 5 seconds when they called for time. So this wasn't a hose job, it was just Butler ****ing up. What makes it worse is that they talked to Butler and he said he had the ref do the 5 count out loud. And he still blew it.
What makes this worse? Based on the box score, that botched inbounds was the only time Butler was in the game. The box score lists him as a DNP-CD, so I believe that means he was never officially on the court for even a second of game time (ie while the clock was running)
Rasual Butler is now so bad that he costs you games that he never even gets on the floor for.

Rasual Butler is the ultimate tank commander.
Did you know Butler has a twitter account?

It's been a tough yr and more haters then i ever had but I PROMISE U my team and I will be EXCELLENT! Period!
The Raptors have had all kinds of opportunities to reconnect with Lin since that pre-draft crash but for various reasons and circumstances, it just never happened. But it almost did.
It almost did just a month or so ago. Earlier this NBA season, with the New York Knicks in complete disarray and relationships rather friendly between Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni, interim general manager Glen Grunwald, and Colangelo, there had been some serious talk about a deal for one of the Raptors’ point guards. No one will say who approached whom about what, but if you play the elimination game, it was probably the veteran Anthony Carter, who was supposed to be heading to New York.
I still don't get why D'antoni is the coach. With Carmelo, Amare, and Chandler, you shouldn't have a run and gun system with those guys, it should be to stop letting the other team score because they are going to score no matter what.

Replace him with Ron Wilson and you'd have no difference.
