What the Rangers have done here is quite impressive. Alot of teams build around a centerpiece player, but what we've done is actually build a system around an elite goaltender. The way we play is tailor-made to produce outside shots and limit second opportunities....the kind of saves an elite like Henrik eats up. He's still as great as he always was, but these days he's not having to constantly rob guys like he had to on the Jagr teams.
CAPE TOWN, South Africa -- Colombian pop singer Shakira has blamed her Blackberry for sparking a sea lion attack -- suggesting the marine mammal mistook the shiny black phone for a fish.
The 35-year-old "Hips Don't Lie" singer immediately alerted fans to the situation, posting on her Twitter account, "Omg what just happened to me! I was attacked by a sea lion!" before taking to Facebook to provide additional details and photographs in a "special report."
The only problem with Hanks stats is that they're gonna go down even when he lets in 1 goal most of the time.
I think that is already happening (outside this game). He recently won two in a row, giving up just four goals total, and his stats got worse. haha, its crazy.
I'm really scared about the hawks coming thursday. They just lost to Nashville which would mean 9 straight losses. There is absolutely no way they make that a double digit losing streak. I'm basing this all off of nothing, but Its gonna be a tough game on thursday believe that.

It's not really that crazy. If Lundqvist gives up more than 1.77 goals a game, it will go up, and if he gives up less, it will go down, unless this wasn't what you two were talking about..

1. Hank
2. Commitment to team D. Total commitment.
Redden: Haven't seen that much holding/interference since 2003.

This is a great point. Torts and Slats have recognized they have an amazing opportunity with a world-class goaltender in Lundqvist to build a system upon defense and minimizing offensive opportunity for the opposing teams. Works fantastically in Lundqvist's favor, and thus the Rangers' favor.
We're able to capitalize on offensive opportunities, grab a lead and defensively shut down the opposition thereafter. Even though the Bruins had the puck mostly in the our zone tonight, there weren't too many great opportunities. Most shots were from the outside and from the points. Our D cleared the front of the net well, and the rest was history.

It's crazy because Hank has been stupid good.
Like I said, I want him to re-set the record soooo bad.
Looks like Chicago is coming into MSG on a 9 game losing streak
They'll be anxious to redeem themselves, but I see no reason why we can't shut them down early. Biron gets the start, I think. And if we can win on Thursday, why not give Biron the start as well vs. the Blue Jackets in what should be an easy game on Sunday? Make sure the King is well rested for the stretch.

This. While Hank was terrific tonight, he didn't exactly have to stand on his head. He had plenty of help. If anything the Rangers were too eager to sit on their lead. That's not good. Give credit to Tortorella, he has his finger on the pulse. Ripping the team for not playing well after the first period was smart and spot on. Never felt like this one was in jeopardy but the boys still had more to give. Plenty more.
