it is, but we're just making the point that he can have a "good game" and still have worse off stats for it.

As far as career years he has remaining... he could have 7, 8 more, but who knows. Could be only 3-4 more at his current level.

We all know. Lundqvist is actually already 30. Stanley Cup-caliber teams don't come around all that often. Big opportunity for Hank.

I'm sure he would rather win in his prime, which is now.

This season is probably the half way mark of his NHL career. He's having a career year and is probably not going to get a heck of a lot better. Time to start making some noise.

We've got a fairly light schedule up until the Bruins visit MSG on the 4th of March. 110+ points sounds good to me

LOL, love the poll options.

What an amazing performance by Hank. There were serious stretches of time where we could not get out of our zone, but Hank came up big every time.

We played a very smart game as there were no penalties-PP's- against until the last minute. And we were able to capitalize on our chances.

Seems like a totally new team now that we have a PP.

If I had to vote 3 stars, I go with:
Hank, obviously.
Anisimov, thought he played a very good defensive game. The goal helps too.
McDonagh, shouldn't get all the credit for his goal, but it was huge. And I thought he played great in his own zone.

If you said we could possibly hit this by the end of the season, I'd recommend you to a psychiatrist.

But, that won't be necessary.

You mean if I had suggested this at the start of the season?

If you suggested that we could possible hit those points by the end of the season...

Better?

The ever humble King on his official twitter account...

"Intense game tonight, a lot of action.. Boys were working so hard in front of me, great to have that support! #lovethisteam"

I love how he credits the defense. This is a tight group.

Copying this one to DVD. This is one to look back at when reminiscing about Hank someday.

Had something to do with MSG believe it or not. No such sounds were heard on the NESN feed.
