No lies, tonight was the first time I actually had a date on Valentine's Day in my life. Two of my good friends share today as a birthday as does my uncle so I was always either celebrating my uncle's birthday or having birthday shenanigans with my friends. That combined with the fact I haven't had a girlfriend around Valentine's Day gave me no reason to do something every year. It made today even better even though it wasn't anything special.

@Beechsack Yeah, it's probably time to just say ******* it and move completely on from her. From what I've gathered in the OT threads over the last couple months, you've done everything you could to be friendly to her and if she's going to ***** to you now over something that isn't her concern anymore, you just have to ignore it and move on. Easier said than done I suppose, but if she's going to be a ***** to you while you're being nice, it's just not worth it.

Indeed. It's just been a joke. She creates all this drama and argument, admits that she's taking things out on me that should be directed to others, then complains how she 'didn't intend on having a bad night'. I swear, she's 27 going on 19. (Then again, I know 19 year olds more mature than this.)

All in all, it works out. I had tickets to Les Mis on opening night that I got her for Christmas, and we were still going to go. Not now. I already have the tickets sold. Time to move on.

Yeah I hear ya, my brother is 19 and there's still the occasional drama there between our mutual friends that I avoid at all costs. Nobody older (or anyone for that matter) needs to deal with that nonsense. And gotcha, seems like the only good decision you can make about the show. I've had difficult cutting ties before but if it's as bad as it seems it just needs to happen.

Indeed. That **** was Linsane!!

Waived off the pick before the final jumper, so his teammate backed down to the baseline.

Duke-Carolina ending by Doc River's son a week ago was nearly identical.

Totally got the 'I'm sorry, that wasn't fair to you, blah blah' message this morning. Sad.

I deleted it.

Probably. I heard it's a good place to meet chicks. That's why I'm here.

It does make for an interesting story when answering the "how did you two meet" question.

For the longest time our answer was "at a Sabres game." Ha.

Better than "in prison".

I try to routinely meet up with a long-time friend-zone woman. We're occasionally asked "Are you two together?" / "How did you meet"? My usual reply is, "she's my parole officer".

Ha. It's the internet. Women on here are like parking spaces. All the good ones are taken and the rest are handicapped.

WINNER.

I have a similar situation with a friend. She's married, two kids, but I've been good friends with her for a LONG time. Depending on who asks the "are you together" question, we usually make up a story on the spot about how I was her sperm donor, and roll from there. Some of the reactions are priceless.

I can't wait for this semester to be over to finish my undergrad. This is the second time I've had this said professor and the first time was an Intro to Sport Management class and he just created work out of thin air so the kids that couldn't hack it would drop the class. But now I'm in the last class before graduation and he's acting the same way. He likes to pretend he's our boss and not our professor. Unfortunately he's a 'boss' who doesn't like to help out his 'employees.'

It's annoying to say the least.

So I got a role of nickels from the bank today that are from a Casino in Las Vegas that closed in 2007 but the role looks like it is from the 50s.

edit: I thought it was really cool so I bought it from my store. I wonder how old it really is.

That feeling when the balance in your bank account is 0.00

At least I have overdraft protection and no expenditures before Friday.

I'm assuming by 'nickels' you mean $5 chips.

Paraphrasing becasue I can't recall exactly but: "Picking a good boyfriend is like eating a box of chocolates. Remember, some are nuts, and don't take the ones other people put back."

Up since 2:30. Working since 4:00, with a 1.5 hour break to get Stewie ready / drive to school.

It gets worse if you're divorced / pending divorce.
