You know, I had an extended rant about the worst Chicago Blackhawks goalie in my life, but I know how much some of you still love the guy, out of respect to you I will just say you already know my thoughts.

I don't think anyone here loves him. But there was a stretch when he was clearly a better option than CC.
It LITERALLY couldn't have been more than a week ago that almost all of you were calling to give Emery the starting reins over Crawford.
Now, after ONE bad game, that's all gone.
And hey, I'm not even an Emery fan. The goal tonight was a backbreaker. But once again sports fans show JUST how quickly they ditch all confidence in their players.
Of course, in fairness to you, coldsteel, you've had a rather insane hatred of Emery all year long, so this post doesn't necessarily apply to you.
Listening to the Hawks tv guys, studio minus Savard and everyone on the radio, every station, currently Grobstein as well, all saying Emery had a good game but Rinne stole it. This is the most bizarre **** I've ever seen and heard in my life...and I've seen some crazy stuff in my time. This is just so weird.
Emery played good last night but the last goal was bad deflection or not.
Nope. 16/19 in saves and two softies from the point with minimal to no traffic. And since when do we let the goalie off the hook automatically because of a 1 inch deflection through his legs? Just this year.

There weren't a lot of chances but he made a bunch of big saves. I wouldn't count the 1st shot from the point as a softy, I sort of went back and forth on that one but that was a big change of direction that went in off the post and there was a guy in front of him.
I think the board was 1/2 for Emery and 1/2 for Salak at the beginning of the year. Salak didn't really show he was much better than Emery in preseason and Q went with experience.
I assume you were on the "sign the guy who sucked **** in Ottawa, then was worse in Colorado" bandwagon, right?
Nope.
This is from October 3rd. You just got owned.

They might sound the same, but they're very different if you put them into context of how they played.
They were both sieves on a horrendous team, but i'm just surprised they got signed so fast and Emery who played very well on the Ducks only got a tryout.

You guys are really disrespecting Elliot by comparing Emery to him and I saw a lot of Elliot last year. His performance last year was epically bad and one of the worst seasons I've seen from a goalie, particularly in Colorado. Nevertheless, Elliot > Emery.

How did I just get owned? None of those posts are from you.
