Lets get Gomez out of here. He's worthless and doesn't deserve to wear the Montreal Canadiens jersey.

Should we call the cops before you try to do something stupid?

Let's not do something that will further damage our reputation in the UFA market. The GM is the one that has to do something about it, not the public.

You really want to be known as the city that drove out Gomez? And I wonder why players are afraid of coming to Montreal...Hmm...

I think we've proven that Fans have 0 power when it comes to player signings, movment, coach signing, etc.... Get off your high horse.

Can we protest his contract outside the Bell Centre?

I don't get this. The guy is trying his best. He's just not a very good player anymore. I'm not going to go on a witch hunt. He's a human being, and regardless of his salary, he hasn't done anything to deserve this.

I remember people saying this about Ryan O'Byrne the year he scored that own goal. He was apparently worthless. A disgrace to the Montreal Canadiens. Unfit to wear the jersey. Of course, he was trying to find his game and dealing with his mother battling cancer across the other side of Canada. But he never used that as an excuse, he was a pro the entire season, despite what people said about him. He had his private issues to deal with like anyone else but he was focused on trying to help the team and develop himself as a player.

Maybe Gomez has personal issues to deal with. Maybe he doesn't. But he is trying to help the team and is still acting like a pro hockey player. However much you dislike him, he still deserves some respect for that, regardless of whether you want him on the team or not. He has had plenty of opportunity to call out people like you who get on his case yet he has chosen not to. Maybe you could learn something from him.

The only thing worthless are the loser fans who say stupid stuff like this. Gomez obviously isn't worth his contract and has been horrible this year, but he still tries and cares about the team. Thankfully you only have 25 posts on this board because i'm sure the other 24 are garbage just like this one.

I think I meant 80 years ago. They had buses and readily available cars 50 years ago. Not sure what you're trying to relate my post to.

But....But, he speaks some french. No protest needed....until he is taking a roster spot from a Quebequois...then he MUST be lynched
