Chicago - Edmonton

Going to Chicago
-Khabibulin
-4th round pick

Going to Edmonton
-Emery
-Olsen

I know Chicago right now at this moment needs to fix their goalie situation. I think Khabby would be a great fit for them and next year help mentor Crawford back to being a solid goalie.
I don't know if the value is right or would the Oilers have to add?

Oilers say yes for sure. you dump khabbys salary, for a younger and cheaper guy and get a solid dman.

Heck, I'd be happy even if that 4th was a 3rd. I'd be willing to be patient with Emery and give him half the games with Dubnyk.

Hawks fans are pretty high on Olsen. I think that 4th would have to be changed to a third at least if not a 2nd. Just playing devils advocate here.

As an Oiler id say yes, as a Hawks fan, id probably say no as I think they are pretty confident in the goaltending they have going forward.

i really don't want any part of emery or have him near the kids , its bad enough they have to watch peckham lose his cool on an ongoing basis.

No way that Chicago takes that junk contract. He wouldnt be able to take Crawfords job from him, he cant even stave off Dubnyk.

I'm not sure Khabby would be added to chicago to take Crawford's job, but more to supply the team a better backup and a better option if Crawford needs a night off.

I would do Khabby straight for Emery. Just to get rid of that contract

This. The best deal to do IMO is still the one proposed earlier by a hawks fan. Crawford and a mid pick for Khabbi

I wouldn't even want anything back for Bulin. A 7th rounder would be fine, as long as his contract is off the books.
