so i go to the Rags board to congratulate them on basically wrapping up the top seed in the east and kiddingly say i'm rooting for whoever gets the 8th seed to sneak up on them and catch them napping so we don't have to face them later in the post season, and a couple of them replied, in a serious tone, that I should be rooting for the habs and that the last thing they want to do is go up to Montreal again. Is that true? Are the habs to the Rags what the Canes are to us? If so then maybe we can, you know, just temporarily...you know, for selfish reasons....think about rooting for....(SNAP OUT OF IT PIE!!)...PHEW! Glad I came to my senses.

Go 's!! HABS SUK!
I don't know what it is but since that comeback of 4 years ago when the Habs came back by 4 or 5 goals against them it's been all downhill for the Rags and Lundqvist looks beyond crappy against them. Never plays well against Montreal
I think the Habs would give the Rangers a hard time especially if Price steps it up and Markov would make a comeback

The Rangers are 2-4 against Montreal and Toronto.
Toronto has beaten New York 4-2 and 4-2, and lost 3-0.
Montreal has beaten New York 4-0 and 4-1, and lost 5-3.
Haven't posted in a GDT since before the B's winning streak. Didn't want to jinx them while winning. But enough is enough and time to kick some habs butt!
Against Dr`s orders due to mild concussion, I will forgo listening to his terribly unreasonable demands of NO TV for lengthy periods of time for another chapter in the battle of hated rivals.
i use to really get amped up to play and beat these scrubs , but over the years,it is such a pain in the ass to watch these games being played in MTL.To have to listen to the fans boo everything ,from offsides ,to iceing ,to cry for a penalty everytime their player gets hit. think now i have to watch with the sound off

Watch almost every game, rarely is there an arena where the fans aren`t booing some opponents, this doesn`t bother me, I come to expect no less from those poutine eatin`, Laurentide drinkin`, filter free DuMaurier smokin misguided jackwagons.............cue the infraction
They interviewed him earlier this year and he said he wasn't going to fight cause of a bad facial injury from a couple of years ago. Doctors don't want him to fight
As for White I was reading in the paper this morning it will be is 1st game of the season if he plays, hopefully he gets a beating!!
Emelin shattered his orbital bone and had metal plates installed to rebuild it
Hopefully this road trip sparks a much needed Bruins team into the dominant team they were from November until January.
Horton really had a huge different on this team, and I hope he comes back so that the Bruins turn into the team we know they can be.
Better a slump now then in the playoffs.
Go Bruins Go.
Agreed..
as uninspiring as this team is playing now, at this time last year I was pretty much secure in the fact that if they even made the playoffs, we were gonna see a first round exit. Things change, and quickly as we all know

tis always worth it when it comes to the Habs
oh yea fans boo , but these morons takes it to another level

Yeah I know, I guess that 30 years of watching this rivalry, probably watched close to 40 games live both in Boston and in Montreal, I just know what`s coming and ignore it
P.S. Love to see local Halifax boy Bods go in for Corvo tonight too!!

So true, and remember as Bruins fans, we have had it very, very, good in the least year.
A Cup, and an outstanding couple of months where this team could not lose.
Now they are in a slump and the team is still near .500.
Imagine being a Blue Jackets, Flames, Islanders, ect fan, it would be torture.
The Bruins will turn it around, and all will be right again.

I`ll go back even further, there was a time, before Mr Chia and our old buddy Cam jumped on board when this once proud franchise, whether there were Cups or not, at the very least iced a team that was always competitive, regardless of the cheapskate attitude.
I also recall many trips Mrs. Odaat and I taking to Boston, where a seat wasn`t easy to find, and literally having out pick of lower bowl tix, the Bruins were irrelevant, NO UFA with their sanity intact would sign there without gross overpayment.
Now................much different story, no franchise is perfect, but this is the healthiest I have seen this franchise in for over a decade if not longer.
One thing I've noticed since joining is that way too many Bruins fans are way too negative. I could care less where this team finishes in the standings as long as they make the playoffs. This is a team that is designed for the playoffs. They've been slumping for the last few weeks but their play in the last two games has been very good, with no puck luck, yet people pile on like they've been awful. These things happen. Count yourselves lucky that we cheer for an organization where the biggest thing people have to complain about is not being 1st place in the Conference.
Boston Bruins @NHLBruins
Julien bristled at the idea that Hennessy and Bodnarchuk are here simply as spare parts. Now I wouldn't be shocked to see one play soon^BISH
This is where the magic started last year.
But sadly this year no new Bruins for this road trip
to bond. Still all in all a 6 game win streak is possible.

Give Hennesy a shot instead of Caron on the 3rd line tonight in my opinion.
