Btw, Cunneyworth made this big deal about benching guys that make mistakes, but Gill give the puck away, and then proceeded to screen Price for the first goal.

Don't forget Campoli that looked like a fool getting undressed by Benoit Pouliot of all people. Kaberle looked as bad last game but at least it was Staal going around him.
Benny P, now that's just embarrassing.
Habs played well, unlucky to lose in Bettman's crapshoot. Pure chance. Fans are always wrong to applaud an injury, but quite understandable given Chara's attempt to kill a kid last year , which produced no penalty from the league at all. The Bruins announcers were laughing about it a year ago. Let them laugh some more. They're the ugliest and most goonish team to win a Cup since the Flyers of the mid-seventies. A disgrace to hockey.

Well, given Benny's remarkable physical gifts--he was a top 5 pick--he was bound to destroy someone once in his career.

Skaberle's undressing was worse than Scampoli's. Double brain fade. He actually gave the puck away before Staal left him in the dust.
How embarassing was Scott Thornton tonight? Owned by Eller, Owned by Emelin. On the Emelin hit he acts like he is shot, tries to sell the call (which is something I thought only Habs players do, wonder how Bruin fans feel about that?) gets stiff armed by Subban and his only big hit of the game was a cheap hit when Emelin didn't have the puck and was not looking.
Epic game...lots of positives to build on...if we play like this for the rest of the season, we're money!
Kaberle, Gomez are so meh at best...their passing is ok though...but everything else about them really leaves a lot to be desired...Gomez is the american kaberle and Kaberle the czech gomez...
Gill should play limited minutes and PK he is too error prone...Campoli...yikes...so average at best...
Eller...AK46 scapegoats for what? Trade AK46 or bench him but use him and Eller properly ffs they could be great for us...
Emelin? Wow waa wee wah! Love him.
Markov will be back soon boys...mark my words...and with this new RC philosophy of grit we will get somewhere.
WTF with the refs today...hockey gods balanced it out with all those posts that saved us...We missed lots of open nets...
I just realized something that will blow your mind. Patches has now scored 22 ES goals. Cammalleri had 22 ES goals 2 years ago as well but the last time someone had more than that in a Habs uniform was Dr. Recchi (25 ES goals) in 1996-1997.
I am officially sold on Darche, he is the little engine that could, he may be also the ugly duckling but he is getting the beautiful swan with consistent work ethic and simple but effective hockey...we reproach Gomez and AK46 because they over complicate and go outside the parameters that the coaching staff has set forth for them to follow however Darche routinely complies to the coaching philosophy of the Randys
I just dont get RC. I was willing to give him a chance to be the habs head coach, but now, I just dont like him anymore. Make one mistake, you're benched. Yet, he doesnt have the balls to bench Campoli and Kaberle. Cole shouldve been picked in the shootout. I just dont get how he couldnt make that decision. He still went with maxpac, whos awful at SO. Shouldve been Cole, Pleks, Leblanc easy.
Again, cant wait for next year. I just hope the management can fix whatever needs fixed.
Sorry guys I have to go to work so I don't have time to read the entire thread, did anyone hear Gorges comments about the hit? I think he was spot on, you can hit a guy straight up, why Marchand ducks down at the last second, to me, is an attempt to injure. I'm from Nova Scotia, everyone here goes through the same checking clinics when you're young, never have I been taught or played against someone who checks like that.
And then Marchands comments about Chara's life at risk because he got hit in the throat (looked like chin to me) was absolutely disgusting. Someones livelihood was actually at risk because of Chara's actions last year.
I was curious so checked on hockeydb and it made me laugh. He now seems to play for the Akwesasne Warriors of the FHL (?) and has 62 goals and 107 points in 36 games. He is tearing it up time to bring him back!
