If Markov's history is to be taken into account, he wont miss many games if at all. I remember other times where markov looked hurt badly but came back the next game
Having said that, I still haven't seen the play where he got injured. Was it a certain play that he got injured on?
I was watching Canadiens Express yesterday, and I noticed that after what looked like a relatively harmless hit on the boards, he was in the defensive zone trying to defend with only his right arm stickchecking. He could still hold his stick with two hands, but his left shoulder seemed like it had no strength in it, and it seemed like the shoulder was leaning down a bit.
This all happened at about the 16 minute mark of the 3rd period.
What the Canadiens may - or should - worry about is that Andrei Markov, the team's best defenceman by far this season, wasn't around for the finish of the game. He was hurt in the first period, played through it in the second, but left after logging only 1:55 in the third with what the Canadiens announced was a "left shoulder injury." More about it, it's imagined, will be revealed today, since the Canadiens leave on a lengthy, six-game road trip tomorrow starting in Calgary and Vancouver.
