We've only got one game left against them, but we're winning the season series 3-2 at the moment.

You've got two games left against the Leafs, I'd say WE hope YOU knock Toronto out.

Great game, finally we got a semi-blowout game other than the Penguins game when Johnson was meh. Was hoping Turris would get going in a game like this but he seems really snakebitten right now, getting the chances though. Cowen seems to be getting out of his slump again, which is nice come playoffs time.

3 stars
1. Spezza
2. God
3. Kuba

We have seen that the raw tools exist, and he can apply them, so everybody can breathe a sigh of relief. He looks like a wiry 17 yr old out there... that's his weakness right now.

Turris needs a summer with a Senators' conditioning plan. I am giving him a mulligan on this whole year. For me, his tenure with this team starts next September.

He uses movie lines for most of the Panther goals. His best one is "Maaaaaa, the Meatloaf!" He's just crazy and has been the best thing this organization has had for awhile. At least until this year that the team has been competitive again.
He was great. One of the better play-by-play guys I've heard for a while personally.

He is awesome. He started out the season slow, played with Jovonoski. Then Jovo got injured and he has stepped it up, increasing his physicality, taking more shots from point.

He seems to be of great character. He just shaved his head for peds cancer (im sure you know his brothers history).

Ive met his dad, tweet with him, awesome fam.

My browser legitimately did not have a chat feature on account of my account not registering the two-week trial because you needed to create a brand new account to access the trial. Furthermore, this has little to do with the post-game coverage and I am disappointed to be mocked in such a fashion. I am pulling a Heatley and demanding a trade, except unlike Heatley I would like to be traded to the Oilers board. Thank you, that is all. Kidding about being traded, obviously.

Konopka has been scratched the last 2 games. Is this going to be a frequent occurrence going forward or was it just a match-up deal?

if jim obrien continues to perform well, expecially in the faceoff dot, then this will be a very regular occurance. Konopka wins faceoffs and fights. That's it. Not the kind of guy you want to waste minutes on down the stretch.

Aww yeah? I used to be childhood friends and neighbours with him. Our families are still close though. I wanted to see him play against Ottawa back in Dec. but somehow he was scratched even if he was in the pre-game warmup.

Anderson could very easily been selected as the first star again, he has played two pretty good games in a row & kept Ottawa in both games especially in Tampa Bay. Ottawa was in control of the Panther game for the majority of the game but Anderson made some key saves in this game as well to keep them in it until they got it going.
