Boyes is done. 8 goals in his last 80 some games, was a teener the 2 before that.

Whatever he had, he has lost it.

Erixon is playing great in the AHL which is exactly what they wanted him to do.

If healthy you go in with McDonaugh, Girardi ,Staal, Sauer, Del Zotto, Stralman and let Erixon and McIlrath battle it out. Bickel can be brought back on a two way since he is a RFA.

I like Eminger I just think he's likely let go

#Sjsharks won't be facing D Kubina tonight. TBL have asked him to ID acceptable trade partners. Until move, he's being kept out of action.

I knew the time would come when this trade thread would become too much of a problem.

All right, enough with the lollygagging, the poppycock, the hogwash, and the boulderdash. It's Kubina time, folks. He's available, we're practically Bolts North. Let's have at it and try to get in some good discussion on what we send back before the inevitable Nash/Carter obsession gets back in full gear. And let's keep the Taylor Hall fantasies to a minimum.

Pavel Kubina has to submit a list of teams. There's something with that. Pavel should be happy he is still collecting a NHL check. The NHL needs to remove restriction clauses from the CBA or limit them.

With no trade clauses?

If players and management both agree to a cut in pay in exchange for a little security in life, who is to say that is against the spirit of the game?

In before Kubina trades start including MSL/Vinny/Stamkos.

I'm all for Kubina if price is fair. I'm still worried about our D in the playoffs. Glad to add a vet.

Everyone seems to have a restriction clause in the NHL these days. They don't exist in the NFL and NBA. Some MLB players have no trade clauses. They also have the 5 and 10 rule. If a player is on the team for 5 years and has 10 years experience,he can block a trade. The NHL needs something like that. The player is getting paid big $ and the team should be allowed to deal him.

I think the whole Nash rumor is an intentional 'leak' by Slats to make it look like he's got a variety of trading options and perhaps use it as leverage in the negotiation for whoever he's really pursuing.

I'll really be shocked if Nash ends up a Ranger here.
