They write up who starts before the season begins, not according to who is higher in the standings at any given time.
Torts has said they schedule starts well ahead of time.
It is not determined before the season begins, the amount of starts for each goaltender is roughly estimated, but the actual determination of which goalie will start which game is made much closer to the actual games.
Hank's outing in Boston had an effect on Biron playing this game. He doesn't want him burned out too much before the playoffs.
Biron is going to get more time now and into March than any other point in the season. Like I said earlier, the team needs to learn how to play in front of Biron and score goals, protect leads without having the bail insurance Hank gives them.
I agree with all of you, I thought Henrik should have played tonight and Biron Sunday. Henrik would get the Penguins (Tuesday) and the Islanders (Friday), Biron would get Buffalo Saturday on the back to back and Lundqvist in for the Devils on Monday 2/27. At least that is how I thought it would go.
So I guess Lundqvist goes Sunday and Tuesday. Biron should get one of the Islander/Buffalo games.
Chicago hasnt won they are due rather see them lose tonight with Biron in then u come back rested with hank and get the win you should undoubtedly get against a much weaker team in Columbus.
We've been on a tremendous stretch you have expect a loss sometime and I'm not sayin the plan is to lose tonight. I am just seein it as the next two games of this week we should at least take Sundays so you put your top guy for that match.
