The fanboy-style has gotten out of hands in these boards. I swear these boards have become a kindergarden. You can't say one bad thing about a player, the zealots come out of woodwork.
Subban plays like crap? that is true? to whom exactly? you and bunch of nordiques clowns?

Maybe you should throw hissy fit and threaten us that you're "done" with HF. You'll be happy, we'll be happy; until you decide to come back.

PK is an amazing, incredible player. He and Gorges are doing a tough job against the league's best, and doing it in style. He skates the puck out of trouble against the best in the world, and makes it look easy.

But he has to stop going down every time an opponents stick gets near him. It's getting embarrassing. It was forgivable as a rookie, but he's past that point. Refs are going to stop giving him calls.

Now that Spacek is gone is there any possibility the Subban asks to switch to number 6??? He wore number 6 in Belleville. He also wore number 5 for team canada but that number is retired for Boom Boom.

Considering how much $ has been made on PK Subban-related material with the #76, I doubt very much he'll piss off his fans for such a fickle reason.

Plus, he's one of the first (if not THE first) NHL player with #76 to be relevant and elite

I want to give some love to Subban

He is playing very good lately. Defensively he is getting alot better. Thats is awesome

he might not getting the offensive stats

2010-2011 CANADIENS 77 14 24 38 -8 124 9 0 3 197 7.1
2011-2012 CANADIENS 57 3 20 23 4 70 1 0 0 143 2.1

Less penalized and have a better +/- record!

He was better last season in every possible way. The reason for his improved +/- is due to having Gorges as his new partner.

I think he's improved in decision making as well. He's had tough stretches but I think he's improving his game for the long run.

Offensively? Yes for sure. But defensively and his decision-making? Hell no. People seem to forget that Subban was a liability defensively and mediocre offensively up until January of last year.

Subban has been underwhelming this year offensively, but in no way did he regress defensively, he improved in that department. Once Subban starts potting a few goals and racking up assists again, I'm certain people will jump on the Subban bandwagon again.

Really?

Subban is well on pace to beat his assist total from last year, and while the goals are down, it's mostly because he's now playing on the right side of the power play, which takes away the one-timer play (maybe not a bad thing either after his bad play on the left early this season).

Subban's defensive play is much improved from last year. He still makes mistakes, some glaring, but in general his positioning and play in his zone has gotten better. His decisions with the puck as well, at least for the most part.

Hopefully he works on his shot this summer to bring it back to what it was in the second half of last season, and he should be good for 45-50 points next year.

The progression is constant with PK, through his successes and failures. Just give him some time.

Look down one line, no need to bump this.
