That's 3 second rounders. 4 picks in the top 60 is pretty good.
Sad to see Moore go. A 3rd line center is replaceable but he was a great fit here. A 2nd rounder is what he's been traded for in the past so it is good value. Hopefully something will be done to fix that 3rd line this offseason.
Connolly should get more minutes now too.

I wish we would have kept him. When this team gets back to the playoffs it's going to need players like Moore in the bottom 6. He's more versatile than Pyatt, Thompson, or Hall.

Very good return for Moore. The pick will hopefully be in the top 40 and it wouldn't surprise me if it's used in a package to acquire a goalie if Yzerman goes the trade route. Moore was a good player here and I wouldn't mind Yzerman bringing him back in the summer if he wants to come back.
This should be a good audition to see how he handles the role. If he does well, Yzerman may decide we don't need to pursue a 3rd line C in free agency.
We now have 4 picks in the first two rounds (3 2nd rounders). That's huge. If SFY gets another top-60 pick for Kubina or even Malone and/or Clark... It also gets us a better chance to perhaps trade up for another 1st rounder. *drool*
Good luck to Dominic, he's a warrior. Maybe we'll see him on our team again next season.
