That screened shot from the point was the only one that has a chance of beating Hank though. Granted, 2 breakaways and a penalty shot probably go alot differently if your guys aren't thinking of going for Birons landing zone five-hole the entire time, but who knows
Come on now. If Lundqvist is that good, the Rangers would have lost maybe 2 or 3 games all year long.

Hank's specialty seems to be breakaways. If Towes, Hossa and Sharp took those exact shots on Henrik, I'm certain he'd have stopped them. But I also doubt players of their caliber would try something like that on Lundqvist. Your guys appear to have scouted Biron, and were shooting 5-hole all game long.

Most teams beat Lundqvist with screens and deflections, and the odd rebound. It's rare that he gets flat out beat. Leddy's goal would probably have gotten through; that puck was on a wire to the back of the net.

Beats being 0-9-1, that's for sure.

Kind of a relief now heading into Columbus. We need a big win tomorrow to really get things going.

Don't look now, but Columbus has won 4 of 6. Not going to be a pushover.

It should be a good test to see what the Hawks are made of then. We'll see if last night was a fluke or if they're serious about getting back into the playoff race.
