Tune in to WGR tomorrow to hear what kind of spin Regier puts on things now - hopefully, Schopp/Bulldog take the kid gloves off and don't just sit there and let Regier sugar-coat things or lay lame excuses about the "comforts" of an aberrational season where everything that could go wrong did go wrong. That kind of ostrich-in-the-sand attitude, if Regier takes it, deserves a royal grilling.

Even more stunned to hear Hamilton say on the postgame that fans should not only forget about Ruff/Regier being fired this season but even over the summer. He expects both guys to be back next October.

Small market team, small market thinking.

In the larger hockey markets, fans and the media REALLY hold teams to the fire when they're not performing. Buffalo's version of that is as soft as the team.

Giroux: 5A in 15:09, his lowest ice time since leaving a game early due to injury in December.
When he was healthy, his next lowest TOI was in their 9-2 rout of the Blue Jackets.
Obviously they don't want to waste him against the sucky teams after he picks up a few points.

Way to to know when one of the leading scorers is on the ice, guys.

I listened to the 1st period at the airport before my flight. When I turned my phone back on I was expecting to see they lost, but not by that count. Lindy's time has come. Thanks for the good times.

Thank god I missed this suck-fest. Disappointing doesn't even begin to describe this season. Even those of you who have been calling for Lindy's head and bashing the "core" for a couple of years have to be surprised by the level of suckitude they've achieved this year. At this point, they simply have to get rid of Lindy and make some big moves.

Good:
-1st period

Bad:
-This team save a few

Ugly:
-2nd & 3rd period
-Everything else

Thought they played a great 1st period, everything that happened in the 40 minutes after that was disgusting though.

The team felt like they played a good game against NJ. Compared to the game against Philly.... I'd say that they played an amazing game against NJ.

Hamilton isn't an insider. He really doesn't know anything. He's a journalist in the same light as Bucky - claims to have sources and inside knowledge, but really, he doesn't.

He's speculating. If he's right, it'll be an "I told you so" mentality. If he's wrong, nobody will care because they'll be gone.

Goodbye Lindy (hopefully), it's time to move on. Same for Darcy. You tried, and managed 1 SC finals appearance.

Imagine the message that would be sent, if no one showed up to watch the next home game. Empty FNC.

Hey hey, ho ho, Darcy and Lindy's got to go!

bring in a new coach - look at St.Louis for what a new coach can bring out of the same guys

im not done with the team before there is a coaching change - i dont get it why Lindy still has a job

I doubt Hamilton endorsed that move.

I don't see how reporting on what Pegula is likely to do is "soft".

And it's not like TBN doesn't have multiple people banging the "Fire Regier" drum ad naseum.

Pegula loves Ruff.

That's why Ruff still has a job.
