Why would you wear a B's Jersey to a game they aren't playing in.

I've never understood this phenomena.

I've been to a few leafs games against the Habs and have wore my Habs jersey... but when I go to a Leafs game against the Panthers or something, I don't wear a jersey.

Its the Wild vs the Habs, you aren't supporting anyone by wearing a Bs jersey there.

PS: You will die.

Are you looking for problems, or looking for a good time? Choose wisely.

The funniest thing I ever saw was some guy wearing a California Golden Seals jersey at a Habs-Bruins game.

What the **** is wrong with you? Wearing a B's jersey at a Canadiens/Wild game, you're kidding, right?

If you dont bother interacting with people (pleasant or not), wear your bruins jersey.
I doubt that you'll get in trouble if you are peacefull and the game is close

Only if you have a heart attack or choke on a hot dog, because i would be surprised to see any Hans fans giving you mouth to mouth.

I haven't been to the Bell Center in a few years, but back in 2009, I was in the blue section (completely up top) where things are usually "wilder" than in the lower bowl and there was a few Bruins fans in the vicinity. There was one guy who was with his GF, who was completely drunk AND picking fights with the nearby Habs fans. It ended up in a drunk hug. Your typical "OMG I'M SORRY MAN, I LOVE YOU". Touching. I've been to plenty of Bruins-Habs games at the Bell Center and I've never seen any Bruins fans get hurt.

The only time when I saw a Bruins fan getting in trouble, it was a large guy sitting right behind me, threatening the people around him to hit them if they didn't sit down after a Habs goal. The Canadiens were destroying the Bruins that night, and the guy was obviously pissed off. He was asked by the security to chill out.

As others have mentioned, if your team isn't playing, going to the game in a Bruins jersey is just being a ***** though. Don't do that.

Either way, Bruins involved or not, the worst that will happen if you have a good attitude, is that you'll get taunted. Although right now, Habs fans don't have many ammos against the Bruins, in the current context.

I think that every time you put on that Bruins jersey you will die a little inside, and lose your humanity.

You won't be in any trouble, but you'll probably be bothered.

I guess that's maybe what you want a little bit if you wear your Bruins jersey at a game where the Bruins don't play, so it's up to you.

But you'll definitely won't be in any physical danger.

I've never been to the Bell Centre in another team's jersey, but I've seen a few people who have and honestly I can't imagine most of the people who attend the games caring one way or the other. Now - you may wind up next to someone who has five too many and decides he's going to exact revenge on Chara through you, and if you try and pick a fight you might find one. But in general most people are sensible about such things and those who aren't are isolated fairly early on and turfed. A few years ago (the year the Habs won the Eastern conference) I had the opportunity to attend a game (second round against Philly - I don't remember which game from that series). A Flyers fan had gotten tickets near where I was sitting and was being slightly more boisterous than he needed to be (nothing physical but he was making some rather lewd gestures with his replica of the cup). A Habs fan in front of him decided he was going to put an end to it, turned and went to push/punch/engage in some kind of physical altercation. Before I could blink one of the ushers (a very small young woman, no less) stepped between the two to put an end to the confrontation and the Habs fan was asked to leave by two burly security guys before play resumed.

You won't die, but the act of putting on a bruins jersey alone will likely drop your IQ by a few points.

Most you will get is harassed, depending on where you sit.

This reminds me, I was in Montreal last year the day of the Pacioretty incident. Later that night I was walking back to my friends apartment very drunk when a group of people in Bruins jerseys approached me and asked me where Club Super-Sexe was. I politely showed them the way, then cursed out the Bruins and walked away.
