Day-to-day doesn't necessarily mean he'll be back in a few days. It might mean that the doctors need a few days to take a closer look at his healing process and then make a timetable for a return. If you remember a few years ago, Leetch was day-to-day with an ankle injury and he ended up missing about 7 weeks.

Kaspar has a Grade 1 MCL strain. That is pretty minor. He probably won't miss much more than a week.

Leetch was also placed on the IR even with the "Day to Day" status. Darius was not placed on the IR...well yet. I doubt he will.

I'm not a doctor or anything but I know that a grade 1 MCL sprain/minimal tear usually keeps a player out for about 2 weeks....usually.

Redden was day to day with an MCL sprain a while back and missed 10 games.

It's a strange injury.

Well no reason to panic and make a stupid trade. Let's see what Pock can do and if it doesn't work we can give Liffiton, Baranka or Rullier a shot.

Good news, now let's get a look at Pock. Maybe some time on point on the pp too.

one of kaspar's strengths is he loves to play hurt. he played two playoff series with pitts with broken toes, and a broken ankle. in the journal news today it said that pock will play IF Kaspar is not good to go. why do i get the feeling that he is playing either tonight or the next game.

Kaspar returned to the ice today. Possible for tomorrow but I read somewhere Renney is most likely going to keep him out another game.

Looks like Pock will be losing his spot soon. Unfortunate, aside from a couple of mistakes Monday night, he looked pretty good.
