This is why I laugh when people say stuff like "DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT, WE'RE WINNING."

Lin realllllllly needs to work on that.

Yep. He is forcing it a bit there in the 1st. Let's see how he adjusts. Not saying Knicks are going to lose this game but this would be typical Knicks. Time Warner issue gets resolved and they promptly lay an egg.

Man hopefully this doesn't turn into a nightmare for Lin. The man can't be expected be as good as he was his first 7 games.

He's trying to do to much right now.

Hopefully Melo coming back will help his TOs go down with defense not being able to put as much much pressure and doubles on him.

He is getting doubled and almost tripled a lot. He doesn't have the lanes to pass like he did before. Melo might actually help Lin's game right now....hard to believe. I have my doubts.

Edit: Playing much better now. Stats looking great too, he's finishing well.

Lin turning it over way too much.

Of course Melo will help. All you Melo haters need to realize that.

Defenses respect Melo way more than Amar'e.

With Melo, teams will be reluctant to double Lin...

That's because Melo won't allow Lin to have to ball so they won't need to.

Ha ha.

No, he will make Lin's job A LOT more easier.

Ama're is looking more and more like a bad investment.

-no explosiveness (shots are getting consistently blocked)
-bad hands
-inconsistent jumper
-doesn't play defense/doesn't give EFFORT on that end
-doesn't box out
-doesn't set picks
-injury risk

He just looks like a stiff on many nights.

Amar'e is having a bad game.

But are you so quick to forget Melo's 9-27 performance or whatever it was?

Amar'e's first half of last season is better than any sustained stretch Melo has given us.

Amare just really looks old.

All his points now it seems are just garbage put backs after him missing a shot and easy tip ins. He's just not the same explosive player anymore. That one alley hoop attempt from Lin earlier that went out bounds...Amare of old would have snagged that and smashed it. And his defense looks worse if that's even possible.

Hmmm....will they steal victory from the jaws of defeat? They've had horrendous ball control this game though, a disgusting amount of TOs.

Right.

There's a reason why no one else offered him a max outside of the Knicks.

Unfortunately his best year here might have been the first.

The Knicks looked better when Jeffries was starting at the 4.

Off night for Lin, but I still love his ambition out there.

Agreed. He's also clearly feeling the effects of going from a garbage time only player to a guy who runs 40 minutes a night. It's not that he can't get into the lane anymore, it's that he doesn't have the energy to expend to finish once he gets there.

As Berman tweeted during the game, can't wait to see what Lin looks like with deadly shooters (Melo, JR) around him so that they can't just triple team him when he goes into the lane.
