Not surprisingly, he showed up to play tonight.
I've always thought of Mitchell as one of the faster players on the team, maybe I wasn't paying attention but I didn't get the impression that Moore was THAT fast. I'd put him close though.

Maybe not as fast but fast enough. He seemed to be ahead of the play for the most part and was strong on the puck unlike Torrey.

I thought he had a great 1st game with the Sharks tonight. Definitely exceeded my expectations because I was willing to give him a couple of games to gel with this line.

Highly underrated skill. Something McGinn seems to have picked up this season.

I wouldn't say Ginner is ahead of the play, he's just not behind anymore.

Baby steps… boarding a guy while he has the puck vs. 3 seconds after. I'll take it!

I still think that they need a 3rd line RW to go on that line, Someone like Moss if he returns. I doubt he'd cost too much either.

McGinn - Moore - Moss

That'd be an extremely solid 3rd line. Wheels, Hard hitting, energy line, that can score. Although not a huge line, they all play much bigger then they are.

Marleau - Thornton - Pavelski
Clowe - Couture - Havlat
McGinn - Moore - Moss
Winchester - Handzus - Mitchell/Desjardins

I'd be cool with acquiring Moss, too.

Ive always been a fan of Dominic and his brothers. I've followed all their careers since Harvard. They are all gritty players that will do what you ask of them and not make bunch of mistakes in the process. He can play on the second or third lines, and is solid on PK and face offs. He gives me the impression that he does all he can with the talent he has. I can always appreciate that.

He'll fit in well with SJ, mostly third line and PK, with fill in duty on the second line when things get juggled around.

Zeus' strength is not puck moving or puck handling. His strength is playing down low in front/around the net, screening the goaltender and using his soft hands to score rebound goals. He needs a puck mover, play maker on his line, and neither McGinn or Mitchell are that type of player. McGinn is similar to Zeus with more speed and better grit along the boards and Mitchell is just useless. That line has nobody who can handle the puck well in the open ice or really control it along the half boards. Paired with the right linemates, Handguns would be contributing more, but the Sharks just don't have depth in that area right now with Havlat injured.
