Lower Divisions in Sweden

Hello. I would like to know what are the differences between the top divisions and bottom divisions in Sweden. I know the higher levels have great talent, but what about Division 1 and Division 2? How would Division 1 and Division 2 compare to the Italy Seria B ? Thanks for any info.

I've got no clue about Serie B in Italy, but I would suppose that at least top players in div 1 should easily be able to do well there. Div 2 is a very low level even in Sweden, so players from there will probaly have a harder time even if there are exceptions of course.

Very difficult to compare this 2 different levels and 2 different countries in Ice Hockey like Italy and Sweden.
Serie B, now Serie A2 (Italy2) could be compared to the lower team in Division 1. In Serie A2 often you have a good 1st line (also thanks to the imports players) but starting from the 2nd line the level collapse. With a good goalie and a decent second line you could win the tournament but you're not sure to be admitted to the Serie A. Last season Pontebba won the serie A2 but I'm not so sure that those roster could remain in Division 1 without a relegation in Division 2. In fact this summer they're changing the 80% of the roster in order to be part of the Serie A. They confirm only 4 players actually included Swedish center Johan Carlsson http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=319

I wonder if anyone knows what would be a Swiss equivalent league(quality and level) to the Swedish Div 2 league.

According to wikipedia the fourth league in Switzerland is 2. Liga

I'm not sure that's what he asked for, imo 4th tier in Sweden > 4th in Switzerland. No? Then again Sweden has way more teams in first three leagues so who knows.
