Flyers' record in 1pm starts must be comical. I'm not optimistic about this game.

Only thing more comical is the officiating.

Somebody needs to go through and record how many penalties we avg for afternoon games VS avg number of penalties for all other starting times.

Ooooh. Good call. I bet we can expect to see Malkin get away with at least one slewfoot right in front of a ref.

Oh God please No! Not another afternoon game!

Edit: It's a shame our record is pathetic in these games...I actually really like the start time

Why the hell do they have to put games on NHLN, They should let game center live play it over the interwebs and show the same commmercials... I kind of wanted to watch grossman in his first game out of dallas... and sadly i probably won't be able to manage to get anything near HD

Well, it usually takes 1 period and one coke machine beat up to get this team going.....but if the starting time is 1pm, we are lucky if they even get dressed up in time let alone ready to play

It's funny to see that you guys hate/dread early games as much as we do.

Eff Pittsburgh. But I'm thinking loss today. Malkin is on a tear and the fly guys are getting a bunch of people back and a new defenseman. I think chemistry and "jam" will be am issue. On the other hand maybe it forces the flyers to keep it simple and just get the puck on net so simmer and fartsmell can do their jobs.

The lines and full rosters haven't been revealed but according to Boruk, here are two lines:

Quote:
Jake Voracek will play on top line with Giroux and Hartnell.

Jagr will be on line with Briere, centered by Matt Read.
