Steen lost 15 lbs by not working out and not playing ? you would think he would gain weight.
Muscle weighs more than fat, then factor in metabolism for hockey players is usually pretty high. Metabolism for people in good shape takes longer to drop than the rise in muscle atrophy.

I guess so, but it's not like he is that muscular. Hockey players are more lean than muscular because of the amount of cardio they do. They have trouble keeping weight on during the season.
What the heck are you talking about? No he wouldn't. He would be completely lost in our 2-way system. That's a surprising comment from you given your opinion on Stewart....
Anyways, nice first period to get one past Harding and take the lead. My boy Ryan Reaves is playing well! Happy to see him get a goal because he's been battling and getting some chances all year. I love his game. Nice pinch from Shattenkirk and dish from Nichol too.
Shattenkirk's offensive game is starting to heat back up but even when he was on a cold streak he was still playing rock solid defensively. He's top 10 in the NHL (and top 5 among d-men) in +/- at +22. As Kelly and Pang were saying, pretty darn impressive for only a 2nd year player. Later tonight/early tomorrow is the 1-year anniversary of the trade and I'm loving Shatty.

IMO, Shattenkirk and Petro will be the best defensive pairing in the NHL in 5 years.
