Forward depth seems to be their biggest problem. 1st line can't do it all.

Muscle weighs more than fat, then factor in metabolism for hockey players is usually pretty high. Metabolism for people in good shape takes longer to drop than the rise in muscle atrophy.

I guess so, but it's not like he is that muscular. Hockey players are more lean than muscular because of the amount of cardio they do. They have trouble keeping weight on during the season.

IMO, Shattenkirk and Petro will be the best defensive pairing in the NHL in 5 years.

Yeah I love them. Two of the best young d-men in the league...we will do well building around these two for years.
