Personally though, if the selling prices are as high as what we got for Gill, I'd like to see Moen moved, Campoli too. If we could dump Kaberle I wouldn't complain either, as long as we didn't have to take anything too bad in return.

But for the game, it's GO HABS GO, as always. The heart rules a hockey fan.

Or we could just get a 3-0 lead and still manage to make the game nerve-wracking in the third, that would provide a nice change for once.

Anyways, let's win this one and build a good winning streak.

This shows how bad we've been in overtime. 10 points lost, damn.

How about we make playoff and trade down to get top 5 pick?

Bruins won the cup and still picked 8th. And 2nd the year before.

They got Seguin and Hamilton because they traded Phil Kessel and then the Leafs sucked balls afterwards...

The glory days are dead. The Habs have since transformed into being mediocre yet loud and obnoxious team with one deep run once in a while. But Cup is never in sight because their players are simply full of mediocrity. It's time to change that and get another lottery playmaker to complement our lone lottery playmaker(Price).

You have no idea how the league functions. Quit lumping the past 20 years as one solid state of affairs. This is firmly the Gauthier era and Gainey's original 5-year plan to bring the team from terribleness to above-averageness ended. In the Gauthier era, aside from this season, we've shown time and time again that we can beat any other team home or away.

Show me one team that isn't "full of mediocrity".

4 pts closer to the Leafs after tonight! Nothing against the tankers, but I see the glass as half full. Once in the POs, who knows!...

Maybe I'm the only one but I think a Stanley Cup win would be somewhat cheapened by having our best players handed to us due to being one of the worst teams in the league. I'm sure Penguins fans would disagree, but I think it would be much more satisfying to see the team built with shrewd moves and players exceeding expectations.

Getting a better draft pick by finishing lower in the standings is a consolation prize, not something to strive for. I don't think this year's team is good enough to go on the run necessary to get into the playoffs at this point, but I certainly want to see them try. Win today, get four back, and who knows what happens. If the 2011-2012 Canadiens manage to squeak into the playoffs they'll do so with an awful lot of momentum.

Hopefully we win...

Oh, and hopefully Desharnais and Patches extend their streak.

Desharnais: 5 consecutive games with at least an assist
Pacioretty: 5 consecutive games with at least a pt
