does anyone still not want Nash on this team, or are you satisfied with Wingles playing on the top line heading into the playoffs?

Let me write you a few paragraphs on how he drives possession in the right direction though!

Havlat will be here heading into the playoffs. And why waste assets and valuable cap-space on Nash, when you could try to get an actual 2nd/3rd line tweener for less?

I know I'll get blasted for this, but Niemi really isn't looking good lately. Greiss hasn't really had a chance later in the season to play several games in a row and really show what he can (or cannot) do.

I understand the answer as to why not probably lies in the same realm of why we keep running White out there but both things need to change.

No, with the absurd offers rumored being turned down for him, Shark's can't afford him, period.

Once Havlat comes back and gets hurt again we'll be fine.

why is it for 55 minutes. the Sharks look lethargic and unmotivated, and then the final 5, they wake up only to find out it's too damn late? They looked like crap out there tonight. Yeah the Wings have the streak and all, but the Sharks don't look like a good team at all. They look like a mediocre team that's having all it's weaknesses out on display. It is sometimes terrible watching this team.

It also sucks that Vlasic went down. That stretch with Pavelski and Vlasic going down was really depressing.

I'd love Nash. Just not the 7.8 mill for 6 years that come with him.

They finally put Marleau back with Thornton and Pavelski in the final 5 minutes.
Marleau, as unmotivated as he looked today, was still the 3rd best forward behind Couture and Thornton.

And the reason they didn't do it earlier was because?

Seriously, this coaching staff is overrated.

Nash is a great player, but CBJ will ask for Couture or Pavelski, guarantee it, plus his cap hit is huge.

I don't want Nash...

Maybe Semin or Hemsky (so long as Edmonton pays the medical bills) or even Kostitsyn if he is made available

Todd doesn't have a single assistant with real experience. Matt Shaw? lol...

Hemsky? We already have a soft winger who gets injured every month he's not injured, his name is Martin Havlat.
