What Line Combos Would You Like To See? [New Combos from 2/20 Practice in Post #43]

It looks like Coach Sutter will break up the Kopitar line for inefficiency.

What lines would you like to see? Here's mine.

Clifford-Kopitar-Richardson
Nolan-Richards-King
Brown-Loktionov-Williams
Penner-Stoll-Lewis-

or

Lewis-Kopitar-Richardson
Nolan-Richards-King
Clifford-Loktionov-Williams
Brown-Stoll-Penner

4 lines that can score -hopefully!

What's yours?

Will this work? Nope. We simply can't ice a team with enough skilled forwards to score on a consistent basis

Or do you just like to vomit crap without solutions.

I have absolutely no solution other than nuking the franchise, lol, its funny if you think changing lines will work.

Hey, not a bad idea!

Maybe we should bring up Kozun or Vey for Penner.

And that forgotten guy named Voynov!

Do the line combinations even matter at this point?

LOL! That is what you call "desperation."

Sutter will have to. Maybe bringing up some kids like Vey or Kozun can't get any worse than Penner right?

Brown-Kopitar-NHL winger
NHL winger-Richards-Williams
NHL winger-NHL center-NHL winger
Clifford-Fraser-Lewis

Seriously though... :

Richardson-Kopitar-Lewis (to maybe jumpstart Kopi and get him to skate, like Richardson and Simmonds did in the past)
King-Richards-Nolan (don't wanna mess with a semi good thing)
Brown-Loktionov-Williams
Clifford-Stoll/Fraser/Penner

I agree with you, Im all for like bringing up the kids, screw penner and all, but this system is flawed, changing players on a flawed system wont get you results 9 out of 10 times

My thoughts exactly. I really like the Richardson, Lewis with Kopi to force him to keep up skating. And, I really would like to see Williams with Loktionov more often. I think they can be real good...

Hey Darryl Sutter are you reading this?

I'm a little lost here, several people have put Richardson on the first line, why exactly? If anything, his play has proven him to not be an NHL player. Why not give a shot to Kozun or Vey?

The kings organization doesn't approve of "Thinking outside the box".

Remember the playoffs? Without Kopitar it was Richardo with the Clifford and Simmonds line who dominated for us.

Nothing has worked anyway? What do you got to loose?

Yes, I remember the playoffs, I also remember his 50+ games of junk this season. Give the kids a chance.

I don't really care as long as Penner and Stoll aren't in the lineup.

Works for me!

Only line combo I TRULY want to see is:

Richardson-Richards-Lewis.

These guys looked great in a shift together.

Would love another look.

Penner - Kopitar - Williams: It worked last year... and Williams DID get things going with Kopitar.

King - Richards - Nolan: They have been the best line

Clifford - Loktionov - Brown: Just adding some grit and checking into the third line, I think Brown's a better left winger, but I do want a higher quality wing with Loktionov.

Richardson - Fraser - Lewis: Keeping speed and toughness on the fourth line... as well as the simple fact there aren't any better options.

Mitchell - Doughty: Doughty and Scuderi have allowed so many goals together (off the top of my head, I think it's around 80% since the break)

Scuderi - Johnson: Given Johnson's propensity to overcommit and take himself out of position, Scuderi might be a slightly better partner for him

Martinez - Greene: For limited minutes, I think this can be a decent pairing.

The embolden is a myth. Penner played like crap from day 1. He picked up a few lucky points initially in spite of his awful play.
