If you can explain to me why Bernier is an upgrade on Reimer than maybe ill be in favour of your proposal.

in my opinion, i think reimer is a giggy esque goalie. more of a blocker and he gets caught deep in his crease. he has had the same issue since October and shows no signs of improvement, any game that reimer it seems to me like he only is winning because of luck, he will make 1-2 good stops, but that followed up with 6-7 posts that game... his wins and when he has a decent save% recall how many shots just missed going in, or hit the post. i feel that he would crumble in the playoffs as well. i dont think he is the future at all and in all honestly would rather gus play every game here on out. gus on his game > riemer on his game. all you need to do is play gus to get him going, wilson screwed him because he was playing awesome then when riemer played like crap he kept playing reimer over gus.... gus is and in the long run can be the better goalie in my eyes.

just for refernece.

Bernier is considered as a top level potential NHL starter. Will he be that? Like any prospect one never knows, but I would risk that and make this trade in a heartbeat. Riemer is a much more risky proposition.

It would have to be a 4th by default...since the Kings don't have a 2nd or 3rd this year...

MacArthur isn't going to be used in a trade for what could turn out/be a back-up goaltender. Reimer is the number 1 so Bernier would be number 2. MacArthur is a good player for the Leafs and I don't see the value from their point of view.

You guys don't need to worry about Bernier. We aren't trading him for a guy like MacArthur (no offense). We're looking to trade Bernier + for a much bigger fish than MacArthur.

No offense is right.

We need a first line scorer.
