Why did Cally get the first star? MDZ should have.

Del Zotto not a star? Was the media smoking crack tonight or just not paying attention? DZ was our best player tonight, I think he had more of an impact than Cally.

Our most glaring need: a bottom 6 guy who can win faceoffs. Losing a faceoff and then immediately surrendering a goal is a problem that has plagued us all year.

Watching this game kind of makes me want Nash.
As I said in the GDT I'm not really for or against getting Nash but I hardly remember ever seeing Dubinsky snipe like that. Maybe once or twice in his whole career.

The NHL's clock showed 0.00 (this was shown during the third period), but the MSG broadcast showed 0.01 left and the FSN Ohio broadcast showed 0.02.

No doubt Nash would be awesome to have, but the cap hit is still unpalatable.

EDIT: Also, this team will do ZERO damage in the playoffs not totally crushing a team like Columbus and taking better advantage of opportunities.

They need a face-off specialist like no other.

Exactly. When is the scoreboard going to start reflecting it? This isn't the first time we had to sweat out a game that was all Rangers start to finish. I'm sick of it.

Also I don't know what's up with Dubi. Guy makes himself more expendable every passing day. A shame.

MDZ is a ****ing star in the making, though. What a stud.

I'm not blinded by the record . Pretty bad on face offs resulting in 2 ga . Col won 58% .
Herbed by Mason and the same lucky bounce we cried about that NJD got on Clarksons goal bounced our way .
Stinker not deserving of 2 points .
NYR ARE A VERY LUCKY TEAM THIS YEAR

1. MDZ
2. Stepan
3. Mason

HM: Gaborik, Anisimov

How many goals have been scored against the Rangers as a result of losing a faceoff clean? This problem HAS to be addressed.

Also, Dubinsky has got to bury that puck where he caught Mason out of position. I love the guy, but he's gotta start putting the puck in the net. It's getting ridiculous.

MDZ CANNOT be traded for Nash. There aren't any other defenseman on this team that can do what he does. He's become so solid defensively, and he's such an offensive playmaker. You DO NOT trade a player of his skill set.

Nash is a stud. Plain and simple. Big, strong on the puck, great shot in a big situation. I'm against adding him, but boy oh boy, he's making it awfully tempting. If only that cap hit wasn't so brutal.

MSG clock showed the puck in the net with 0.1 left on the clock. Official NHL clock showed that the puck was still on the goal line when it hit 0.0
