If the rumors of Howson's demands are true, you don't want Nash, because the asking price is too freaking high. Not that Nash wouldn't help you but why cripple your team by giving up talent when you're fine as-is?

I like to pop in to the visiting forums and see how games go. I'm busy with other things so usually it's only when my team plays the other team, or it's a huge game, but it's nice to expand my horizons a bit. See how the others live in their world.

Nash convinced me tonight. He can play like Ovechkin when he wants to. Put him on the Rangers and he'll get 50+ goals.

One of the more asinine goof-ups by the NHL. Definitely need to synchronize these clocks because they look like *******s right now. Not saying that it is--but that 0.00 photo from Toronto could just as easily show the puck rebounding out of the net as the puck going in. For all the millions of dollars generated by the NHL it's inexcusable (moronic) that they can't get such a simple thing right.

Maybe I'm just crazy for having faith in Dubinsky to keep building on his .68 PPG in the playoffs.
Playoff performer? Let me know when he's integral in us going past the second round.

Dubi's overpaid, and the only reason the 40 point Dubi was an integral part of the team for years is because our teams sucked. If he built upon his good last year like I expected, then i'd agree 100% with you.

But he's a 4.2 million dollar third liner right now. Unacceptable.

Can only guess but u can never be sure.
The league always sends pics that seem off.
Has any1 seen that happen to other teams and which?

Malkin, like Crosby, is one of those rare generational talents. He is a UFA after next season, and it may cost only money to get him.

the voice over for the MSG transformation show is the same as the guy who does the Virgin America pre-flight animated video. it's weirding me out.

The NHL has been having problems with clock synchronization all over; it actually negatively impacted the Blue Jackets earlier this season against the Kings.

From the conspiracy angle, that's actually a very good point.

What's stopping them from handing the MSG broadcast a freeze frame of the puck on the line as it bounced back out of the net (which it did) and claim it was on the way in at 0.0?

You would never know unless you could stop the original MSG feed at the same exact point on the way out and conclusively show it is in a different location from where it entered the net. The angles were different as well, which would make that very difficult.

It takes more than one person to get past any round in the playoffs, ask Lundqvist about that. I'm just not willing to trade one of our core members yet and I'd like to see how Dubi fares in the playoffs. He is an important part of the team whether you'd like to admit it or not.

I missed the beginning of the game, but did the Rangers do anything for Gary Carter like what the Habs did?

Staal had his best defensive game of the season hands down. Very comforting to see.

And I'm a little over the Bickel experiment. Enough already. Why even bother dressing the guy?

I just got back from the game and I havent had a chance to read through but after Nash's game tying goal, A good portion of the crowd erupted in a "We Dont Want Him" chant. Forget your opinion of whether we should get him or not, it just showed me that we have a fairly well educated fanbase, even at the game.

Amazing breakout pass on the 1st goal, awesome pass for the OT winner. Stellar in the defensive zone, making awesome break-ups every shift. Played 25 minutes.

MDZ was amazing against Chicago as well.

Yes, the PP and the lack off crucial face-off winning will hurt this team in the playoffs.

Can they still win it all, sure, but it's going to be that much harder.

The 5-on-3 PP unit is ridiculous. We have one play--pass it to the guy at the side of the net, who then looks for the cross-crease pass for a stuff-in. If it's not there (it never is because other teams know that's all we've got), we throw it back to the point and *****foot around with it for another 30 seconds. Where is the creativity?
