Because Gulutzan believes it's impossible to score a power play goal without someone that has a hard shot at the point.

Which doesn't really explain why he's out there. Unfortunately the coaching staff trusts Robidas on the point more than Larsen.

Really sad that their simple inability to gain possession after a faceoff win dooms this club again. Really just unacceptable that they didn't go into the 2nd tied. I'm convinced this game would have been different if this damn team knew what to do with the puck in their own end after gaining possession.

As if that was some amazing play.
Come on man, how can you argue against the numbers he's putting up since the ASG, especially considering this team doesn't score more than 2 a game?

....And?

Robi's not exactly a powerplay dynamo; four goals on the year. Try different combos until something works.

Clearly Gully isn't trying hard enough to use the ineffective player Nieuwy's provided him.

Tbh, Robidas has stepped up his game in the 2nd half of the season a little bit, it wasn't that suprising to see him out there.

I thought he was awful all game, just like he's been all season, and any time he is on the ice the team's chance to score a goal decreases dramatically.

Robidas has been one of the few bright spots on the PP lately.

On Wilson's goal, Fistric did the right thing with his stick. He poked the puck away. Unfortunately for Fistric, the puck hit Wilson's leg and bounced right back to where Wilson could play it.

Robidas has stepped up offensively ya. Not a huge deal he was out there. Larsen would have been the only better choice, and even that's debatable.

Robidas defensively has been just as bad. His first pass out of our zone is turned over at least 50% of the time.

At least it got exciting at the end. 23 more games to tank.

Bring back Ken Hitchcock. Maybe we can get Derian Hatcher to fire these guys up by coming into the dressing room and getting them pumped...I'm so sick of this team being the new Florida Panthers.
