Isbister Injury

Can someone tell me what a bone chip is? According to TSN, Isbister has a bone chip in his neck.

Odd - I thought the papers said he had a neck strain, which makes more sense from the big hit he took from Chara.

I think it is whip lash more than anything else. In his interview at the game tonight he said he would be ready for the weekend - probably not as severe as it sounds. The way he has picked it up we could use him back in the lineup.

He'll be needed. Then we can take out Jason "I accomplish nothing" Chimera of the lineup!

Except that Isbister hasn't really accomplished much, either...but here's to hoping!

huh? He's been on fire as of late! In his last four games he has two goals and two assists. He possibly could have even had more, but the game he got injured he didn't get much of a game in because it was over so soon for him. He is/was finaly coming around. Him and Salmo and Sarno were playing real good together!

even when he isn't scoring, he brings a physical prescence that the oilers haven't had in a long time. It is really noticable when he isn't in the line-up.

I was thinking the very same thing tonight, thought I was going looney, as much as people like to call him Invisbister, it's very noticeable that he is not in the line up..

According to sportsnet.ca, it is indeed a bone chip. If it's around the area of the neck, I'm going to assume it's not too serious if he's still accompanying them, but he may have to have it removed in the offseason.

Hopefully it is not as serious as Sportsnet is reporting. His interview said differently but heh, After Reasoners interview it came about that he has a fractured ankle. Please don't get into the injury bug. it is contagious and we are not that deep.
