And if there is, Scott Howson should be fired/incapacitated before faxing in the trade papers for league approval.
It works if Carle is the d-man included.

RT @DarrenDreger: Lots of time for things to change, but sources say the Flyers are out on Nash at the current asking price. Still think NYR is frontrunner.

If Howson wanted Couturier or Schenn, which I'm sure he did, I'm glad we're out on Nash then.

Del Zotto, Stepan, Kreider/Miller and a 1st rounder for Nash... please Sather? It's been a while since he's done something really stupid. I think he's due.

If New York torpedoed themselves to get Nash I'd never stop laughing.

How could Nash possibly want to go to New York after having an entire arena chant "We Don't Want You" because he scored a goal?...

Kings are still the best fit imo.

alot of people can be happy with nash going to the rangers but what about brad richards, no one thought he was going to be good but he's tearing it up with the rangers and if rangers get nash it's automatic cup win, forget the flyers winning it because the rangers have too many weapons. doesnt anyone care about that, what's the problem with nash coming here?

sure scoring isnt a problem now but going against good teams, they might not make it through the first round, it doesnt matter about goaltending or defense, scoring could be an issue in the playoffs.

The asking price is too high. The hope is that by getting Nash, NYR will scuttle their own chances by giving up too much. They'd also have a hefty cap hit on their books.

Richards is underachieving in New York, and has been moved to a few different lines by Tortorella. Everyone thought Richards would be good there with Gaborik, idk who said he wouldn't. But he JUST hit 40 points yesterday, and barely plays with Gaborik aside from PP time.

That's the catch about Nash going to the Rangers...Torts won't care what your name is or how much you get paid, he'll play you where you fit and depending how much you buy into his system, even if it's the 3rd-4th line.

It was definitely the opposite. People thought Richards was going to tear it up with the Rangers playing with Gaborik but as far as PPG goes this is Brad Richards worst season in his entire career.
