Chicago

If we're lokin for a replacement for Comrie, the why don't we trade for Ruutu? he's may be a good first liner one of these days...

What about this?

Ruutu, McCarthy

for

Comrie, Bergeron, 5th

Ruutu is supposed to be the next Forsberg - Chicago wouldn't think of moving this guy. Pipe dreams!!

Don't hold your breathe. Chicago loves this kid - and rightly so. We'd probably have to throw in say a second and instead of Bergeron we'd have to give up Semenov, or somethign along those lines.

I read somewhere recently that with Pulford taking over as GM, there might be some deals available that wouldn't have been there before, although Arneson's name was mentioned, not Ruutu. Still, you never know. I guess Ruutu's struggled so far this year, maybe Pulford doesn't want to wait for him to turn it around...?

I don't think that will be enough to pry Ruutu out of Chi-town... it would have to be more like

Comrie, rita, 3rd ....

That said, I've heard bad things about this kid's attitude... might be an even larger headache than comrie sometime down the road...
