Stockton--- Oilers called up their goalie Roy to AHL.
Have to wonder if Stockton might ask if Sharks would like to alleviate log jam of goalies in Worcester (temporarily) by say assigning Sateri to ECHL.
(If not, I think Heemskerk will be getting a lot of play time while Roy is away. Stockton has 3 games Friday-Sunday this week.)

Something has got to give.... They are probably in wait and see mode about Stalock before they make a decision

Curt Gogol @CurtGogol13
Made dinner for me and Sheps tonight, turned out to be a disaster! Let's just say my cooking skills are as good as my mittys!
Sounds like Sheppard may be hanging out in Worcester.

If he is, and I'm not saying he is or isn't, I don't think Gogol was supposed to tweet that

Stockton press release indicated O'Connor has been returned from Worcester. (Also in AHL transactions)

I'm guessing Sheppard will "officially" be assigned to Worcester on a rehab assignment tomorrow.

Need to free up NHL roster spot first (Murray to IR?).

I figured that would happen as well.

The whole organization needs a hockey ops enema
Here's some "highlights":
http://www.telegram.com/article/2012...05/1009/sports
Taylor Doherty and Matt Irwin were both minus-4 last night; Doherty is minus-9 in the last six games, Irwin minus-11 in the last nine games. Tim Kennedy was minus-2 last night and is minus-10 in the last six games. Brandon Mashinter was minus-1 last night and is minus-5 in the last six.
Since taking a 3-2 lead into the third period in Portland on Feb. 15, Worcester has been outscored, 20-9, including 9-1 in the last four periods it has played at the DCU Center.

Do it tomorrow - don't ruin what's left of your weekend.

Matt Irwin is to you as Burt Reynolds is to Sterling Archer. Guard your Mom from Matt Irwin.

Not sure they would care or have the foresight, but dont some of the guys need to be paper posted to Worcester to be eligible for AHL playoffs in the event we make it and/or SJ has a short run? IE Wingels, Braun..... When is that date?

DMBand - that date was yesterday.
Braun, I believe is at the point he has to clear waivers - he's also not going to be playing another game in the AHL, he's been very good.
There were obviously some transactions yesterday as this was just tweeted:
James Sheppard set to play his first AHL game today for the @WorcesterSharks in @CTWhale. @SanJoseSharksPR @SanJoseSharks
It's about damn time! Please let us all know how he looks if anyone is able to watch the early game.

Time flies. i am surprised Braun has to clear. My assumption was that they would send him down to play in the AHL playoffs if eligible in the event that SJ went out early. Will be interesting to see their decisions. By my count they are at 23 not including Shepherd who is on a conditioning, Havlat or Murray.
They better have not missed a Wingels opportunity although the point may be moot anyway.

Sheppard playing in his first pro-game in a long while. Hope he doesn't look too out of place.

1-1 in OT right now, so unless he was out for that one goal, he couldn't be too bad right?
