If you were the coach your lines would be?

If you could send anyone down or call anyone up what would your forward lines be?

Moulson - Tavares - Parenteau
Grabner - Bailey - Ullstrom
Martin - Nielsen - Okposo
Niederreiter - Pandolfo - Haley

these would be mine.. i personally don't feel as though pandolfo is a liability out there like rolston and reasoner. and as for nino i couldn't decide where he would go so i left him on the 4th line

Would it kill Jack to do something drastic like say

PAP - JT - Martin
Moulson - Bailey - Okposo
Grabner - Nielsen - Nino
Ullstrom - Pandolfo - Rhett

I mean just try it for a game? What is the worst thing that can happen?

I have different ideas for different lines every week. I'm not saying Jack should go Steve Stirling on these guys, but it should take a lot shorter than 3 months to move 1 player off 1 line and 1 player to another line. just rock this boat already.

I'd call up DiBenedetto because I feel he should get a shot and become a pest to get on peoples nerves. I don't call up Ullstrom because he's a huge help to Bridgeport's success so I hear and I don't wanna mess that up.

I dont give a **** as long as Rolston and reasoner arent in the lineup. Those two do absolutely ****ing nothing to help this team win. Nothing. Reasoner still has another ****ing year. Gross Rolston needs to retire. he is DONE.

I like this at least for this year...next year, I see a total make over with 3 of these 4 gone :

PA (won't get the contract he wants)
Garner - fast as ****, but to damn soft and inconsistent
Opkospo - so much talent, just don't see him ever putting it all together.
Bailey - Someone on this site said it perfect. Last year towards the end we though the was ready to turn the corner. Fast forward to this year, same thing. Another talented kid, but won't put it together here.

If Nabby signs look for Petrov to come over next year. Someone has to Hit both Cap and Snow in there dumb ass heads in making sure Haley is with the club full time next year.

One thing guys here don't get, we don't have the chemistry we had the second half of the year. And that was due to the 4th line (Haley/Konopka/Martin). They gave the players confidence and more room out on the ice. Gave the fans something to cheer about, you see how the Pengiun game last year turned everything around. Teams did not push us around and we became one of the top scoring teams that second half.

They played Nino on the 1st line all throughout training camp and IMO he didn't look out of place. He's played more physical than anyone outside of Martin and I think he has a higher ceiling as a power forward than Okposo. Parenteau can generate offense regardless of who he plays with so I put him on line 2 to balance the scoring. Martin is up there because he's earned the minutes more than any other player this year, and I think he could develop into a 15-20 goal 2nd liner forward with the right players. I'd like to see if he can handle a more offensive role, as well as Bailey. Third line could be a good shutdown line, and I like having one physical player on each line, which explains Okposo on the 3rd. 4th line, I liked what I saw from Ullstrom and this team desperately needs Haley's influence and physicality. Martin can't do it all himself. Ullstrom gives us a center with size that we're desperately lacking.

I've given up hope with the current roster. If they put the young guys in more prominent roles and get rid of these old bums, I wouldn't see it as waving the white flag on the season because I think they'd provide a spark to the rest of the team.

As far as next year's rosters and lines go... If they don't acquire some size and physicality, AND go into next year with Nielsen and Grabner in their top 6, then it'll be another disappointing year. If they can acquire enough depth and talent to have those two on the 3rd line, then this team will be on their way to success.

Moulson-Tavares-Okposo
Grabner-Bailey-Neiderreiter
Martin-Nielsen-Parenteau
DiBenedetto-Haley-Wallace (or Pandolfo)

RW spot is pretty flexible depending on chemistry issues on top 9, but it's a good start.

Gets rid of the guys that suck, only problem is that this would be extremely young.

Actually this isn't bad at all. Gives Nino actual linemates who can help him start producing and the young wings on the fourth line would be awesome. Martin on the first line, while I like it, might not work long term but it could spark something.

I actually dont have a problem with your first 3 lines. Not bad, would like to see what Martin could do on the first line with JT.

Your 4th line is what cracks me up. Ullstrom and Rhett? Why would you bring up Rhett and Ullstrom to play on the 4th line? Not only is your line-up soft as butter.(I guess this is expected coming from you) but you want to make our 4th line a finess skill line with no element of toughness?

THIS IS NOT THE VIDEO GAME NHL 2012! Forth lines are sopposed to be an energy, physical type of line with grinders/energy guys/ and someone who mixes it up/fights . Rhett and Ulstrom dont fit the bill as a true 4th liners. It's becoming clear what posters have real knowledge and or who have played the game and the others who play NHL the video game and think that translates into the real NHL.

Notice how YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON in this thread that does not have Haley on their 4 line? It obvious you either dont get that you need some sort of toughness, grittyness, ect on the roster or you want us to be the sofest team in the NHL and get pushed around all the time. Which one is it?

Listen, we get it. You are anti tough hockey fan . You want this team to play euro trash or womens style hockey instead of playing or building a mean physical team like the Bruins,Philly, Rags ect. You want this team to be filled with soft players that dont hit or mix it up or stand up for teammates. You want us to be pushed around and walked all over and HAVE NO PHYSICAL PRESSENCE.

You want Martin on the 1st line? Thats ok but then who takes care of the rough stuff? You cant have Martin fighting all the time playing on the 1st line. You just dont get it.
Its bad enough we have a team filled with smalll, non physical ,non hitting players with the exception of Martin and Hamonic and now you post a 4th line like that MAKES US EVEN SOFTER? You will never win with a line-up that soft.

My lines Moulson-JT-Okposo
Grabner-Bailey-Martin
Ullstrom-Frans-Nino
DiBenedetto-Pandolfo-Haley

I think these guys can put it together. The reason its not gonna happen on the Island is becuase they dont have the right people around them. That includes a real coach and real veteran presence to guide them. I can definitely see them putting it together on another team, no problem

I would love to see them just try Moulson on the 2nd line for a few games. He and JT are the only 2 legit goal scorers we have. Why not try Moulson with Bailey and see if you could try to spread out the scoring out that way?

PAP - JT - Okposo
Moulson - Bailey - Martin
Nino -Frans - Grabner
Hailey - Pandolfo - Ullstrom

I think the lines are fine. Shuffling them around isn't going to have any profound long term effect. The team just isn't that good, leans too hard on young players, and the veteran players they do have are average to below average.
