Festivals I'd love to go to: All Tomorrows Party and Terrastock. Not sure the latter still exists even. The weird "musique nouvelle" one at Victoriaville also intrigues me. Not sure of the date or the lineup though.

i think its worth it. their set two years ago wasnt awful, they just left out alot of "classics" but for me its always a pleasure to seeing and listen these guys perform. so this one should be better. specially with Alice always putting amazing theatrical shows. (and good music)

I don't see this year living up to last year for myself, unless Korn and Disturbed come back... one can only dream.

(As long as Korn plays NOTHING off of Path of Totality).

I'll be at Radiohead in Miami and Tampa next week! Also hitting up the Sens/Lightning game on March 6th while I'm there.

Excited to see what Bluesfest and Osheaga will look like this year!

I'm not an Iron Maiden fan by any means, but a lot of artists don't announce the Ottawa date immediately because of their agreement with Bluesfest. And since they'll be guaranteed money by attending Bluesfest instead of relying on ticket sales, they don't have anything to lose by including Ottawa in their original announcement.

And given these dates, I think IM will be coming, probably playing on July 9th. I hope there are other artists that I like for that night.

ESPECIALLY after last year, Maiden would keep it under wraps. They spoiled it a bit early on their site and got **** for it.

Holy **** and Hollerado are on the same bill at Babylon's on the 29th. I can't think of two more diametrically opposed bands.

Cool, thanks! Crazy that this info seems to be nowhere to be found online.

It looks like Grimes will be playing in Montreal the same night! What to do, what to do?

Yeah, it's a bit of a hassle because, although they're all planned out, the promoters haven't gotten around to advertising a ton for some shows... can't blame 'em, either, they must be so busy. I got the info from Spectrasonic's Junofest page. Lots of different show info here.

RE: HeavyMTL, I'd love to see SoaD make it up for Bluesfest. Maybe Manson, but that'd be more for nostalgia than anything. Laughing forever at the last band in Disclose's post.
